No they don’t. Blizzard won’t do a thing, unless it goes for days at a time, and then they tell the guy to knock it off.

They even ban gankers now if they go really overboard.

It’s solved in the long run the same way ninjas are. Classic is a social game with much lower populations you will interact with. A mage doing this frquently will get known for this sort off attitude and suffer the social reprocussions of it.

Go do another quest and come back?! If someone is that bent on stopping your progress just go somewhere else and quest for a few and then come back. Thats what i did in vanilla and so did many others. You gotta adapt and overcome. Aint no poly gonna bring me down!

DRs only apply to real players.

They wouldn’t. It’s not an actionable offense. The player being griefed would just have to go somewhere else.

Highly unlikely. That’s something the community would have to deal with.

Thats sarcasm right? A large portion of the people Blizzard is hoping to attract with classic are the Pserver players. It would be counterproductive to start comming down on them with the ban hammer and alienate them before you have even gotten the chance to convert them into paying customers.

I think, this was a form of griefing if they did it for you more then say an hour, i’m not 100% sure but i do remember this being brought up back then at least with poly and being newer, since you’re of the same faction.
