As a healer having to spend every match avoiding these spammable abilities, I have to say it makes me not want to do arena. Even a 5-10 second CD would make the game so much better. It’s hard to comprehend also why rdudu is the only healer that can spam a CC which still being able to heal. At least with MC it knocks both people out for the duration of the spell. Both of these classes also have pretty clowny mobility options that make it near impossible to avoid every poly/clone.

This is a major reason why MLD is so out of control right now, there’s not enough kicks in the world to stop all of those gpies/cbs/fears/polies.
They are out of control because they have multiple spell schools, over the top strong self sustain, insane dmg, and control.
If they had their self sustain dropped down then they would have to use their control for survivability more and not just for setups.

Cyclone is fine. Fear (on destro) and poly are aids though. Huge range, other CC to guarantee it that’s on different DR (dragon’s breath and coil), and having a ludicrous amount of spell schools means they don’t even have to bother juking or risk being locked out of anything substantial. Shimmer is also crazy cancerous with poly.

casual players have emptied out of ranked buddy, they ALL agree with you but they used to be more motivated by better gear rewards for playing
bliz commented on this in the past, something to the effect of cc was really the only thing that provided skill to the game aside from positioning and using your abilities at the right times
i agree that they’ve gone overboard especially in some class combinations - nobody cares about the pvp tournaments or players and I haven’t run into anyone in years who even knows a single name of high rated or tournament players
they just need to make the game fun with mass appeal
wow pvp without being forced to play the very narrow version of the game that the spam cc casters can effortlessly force us to play would just be pve with slows and stuns
playing against wizards might not be fun but i don’t think cc is the right tree to bark up

That’s what happens when you prune situational utility and streamline rotations to 3 buttons with no setup required.
