Currently level 10 with my warlock. She also has 4 vessels, so all I have to do is run the visions to get to rank 11. I don’t care for the visions, just like I don’t like M+. It is a rat race against a timer so everything is push, push, push.
My DK is rank 9 with vessels in her bags. Rogue is 8 or 9, pally is at 7, and my poor warrior is at 2. My DH has her cloak, haven’t played her in a bit so off-handed can’t remember.
Problem is that it is hard getting up with one or two toons and it is more than a full time job to keep up with all of the ones I want to. These are my horde toons. I have a half dozen alliance toons I haven’t touched since 8.3 and the further along my horde ones get, the more I don’t want to grind those toons up to par…
Bad week to post this Bornakk, it’s not only an Org week but also the week we get access to the proc effect, on top of that it’s straight after levels 7-11 were made considerably better to obtain.
It’s basically the best week in the history of the cloak to upgrade it.
I don’t have a cloak. I won’t have a cloak. Having a Heart of Azeroth to level grind for a whole expansion was bad enough. I’m not running out to get a cloak to level grind for one patch, when it will be summarily tossed in the dumpster next patch.

To the 13% who voted no cloak, I hope you never do Carapace of N’zoth and N’zoth himself on LFR when it comes out.

Doing repeat dailies is super boring. MoP, I have to fly there since there NO portal that goes to the Vale. So going out there is rare unless the game really makes me.
8.3 is a let down.

2 Blue posts in 1 day about the legendary cloak. Meanwhile we can’t get any interaction regarding corruption gear. Internal data must show there is a lot of players who either have not bothered to do the cloak quest or are leaving them at a low level. You guys must have had some kind of team meeting regarding lack of player engagement with the new system. I would be very surprised if Blizzard said they don’t have a way to search through character data to see what level players cloaks are.

Technically it was several hours ago but two can play at this game.
I will get my cloak. Once I unlock vulpera. And work my way up to getting the cloak. I’m not even thinking about unlocking pathfinder til later so will end up here faster than usual?
Max level (12 atm). The stat proc at 12 is too powerful not to have if you care about your character’s output at all.
My main is at level 8. I have enough vessels stored up for 2 more levels. Will probably wait until it is Orgrimmar before trying to progress.
I have 4 other 120s. My DK alt is the only one with a rank 1 cloak. Started the cloak questline on another alt then got distracted. LOL I need to feed my mog habit but I’m planning on getting cloaks on all my 120s. Not planning on maxing cloaks on more than my main at the moment though.
We are missing options such as “what is cloak”, “where is cloak” and “why is cloak”.
I do see that there’s a guide now, which possibly answers one of those questions.

Level 12 for my warlock, but my mage is level 9. Find the visions a lot harder with a frost mage than a warlock. Still find them fun though.

Max on 3 toons, will probably be maxed on 2 more before reset, have 7 other classes between rank 6-9. I don’t care what the naysayers say, I enjoy the content. However I am getting a little burnt out getting the vessels day in and day out so I’m slowing down a bit. Luckily I got characters that will be done in a few weeks (as well as substantially geared as this expansion is considered) so I can move on to others.
Misc note, but on the topic of cloaks, i love the stormwind cloaks for visions (tele to the eternal vale portal room and uldum), but they tend to often be accidentally vendored or mistaken. By chance, could it be turned into a personal toy or a unequippable on interact usable item so it wouldn’t get mixed up or vendored/sorted? I would be thrilled
8 on my main, 5 on an alt, absolutely no inclination to continue on either one of them.

but extremely dislike the reward structure of visions being so ultra RNG, AND hate how you can only get 1 piece of gear per difficulty setting.
i like the upgrade a week thing on the cloak to progress it, but i hate that its tied to how much corruption gear i can wear. i literally have a bag filling up with corruption gear i cant wear because we have to wait behind the time gate of the cloak and its corruption resistance. there should of also been corruption resistance on the neck to speed this process up. and or a toggle system to be able to turn off corruptions and turn them back on when the cloak catches up to us being able to safely manage the corruption instead of straight cleansing. having 3 creatures from beyond spawning on top of you and insta one shotting you isnt fun. leaving upgrades sitting in my bag isnt fun either.
To be fair, the folks who can enjoy retail while skipping everything 8.3 brought are probably the most envied players going right now.

Level 12. Fell behind for the past few weeks as I was burning out on it, but managed with the buffs to vision items to obtain a few extra keys to do the visions with.
Busted out a few solo runs and snagged rank 11, busted another and snagged my 12.
Its max.
I enjoy the challenge visions present but it just wasn’t designed for any class other than a geared dps solo. In my opinion it needs to be toned down or the upgrade for the vision itself need be much more easier to pick-up as your average casual isn’t interested in racing against a clock like you’re a victim in a Saw movie should your Sanity run out.
