I vote Arcane Mage.

But I think I’m switching her to Fire because I just learned how powerful and easy it is. Don’t purge my combustion, though, because I will cry. Also, if you are using purge, that means you are a Shaman, so you are not a gnome, so you need to go make a gnome ASAP baby!

Elemental shaman gets my vote , love lightning and lava burst. elementals , i thing ES and EQ effects sucks tho…ES mostly its the main spender and its barely noticiable.

Holy Paladin! It’s what made me choose it now but I’m staying for the play. It’s fun :star_struck:

Not sure why holy and Ret are put together on that poll tho.

It’s that light of dawn spell that is rocking it. Also the Holy Light with the book.

Avenging wrath is just okay.

I really like elune’s fury and starsurge. I love the sound when starsurge hit the target.

yeah full moon is my favorite offensive spell. i guess maybe just from a restoration standpoint, it feels underwhelming compared to the other classes sometimes :frowning: (not so much the spells themselves, but our animations…dispel has a cool one that looks awesome in combat, but other than that it’s all the same)

Yeah I mean the healing spells looks terribad. But the offensive looks good IMO with exception of wrath

I agree with shaman being one of the best caster animations.

Also Shaman spells sound amazing in comparison to the other classes. Lightning bolt is by far my favorite spell to cast

ele has almost always “won” as far as animations go. it hasn’t always been good as far as output, but the visuals are top notch.

Hmm, my fav used to be destro’s arcing rainbow of death: the chaos bolt. its still cool but seeing that thing coming at you and know its gonna blast off your face was always fleetingly awesome. i guess my fav probably still is destro though. runner up maybe shammy for fire and sound effects

I’m slightly surprised to see such love for Arcane’s animations. I always thought folks thought they were boring.

A lot of 2 hander classes use this animation but man it looks sweet on Condemn.

Personally I quite like the subtlety of Arcane Blast especially, and I find the other spells have their charm, but I do also enjoy the flashier aspects of modern Balance.
