Politics have invaded my video game. No where left to run to escape

I use wow as a way to relax and get away from all the global drama I’m bombarded with constantly. Now wow is a focus in all this and I just want to be able to enjoy a game in my freetime. I don’t have a point other than I’m fatigued by all the drama, outrage, just everything. Sighing very hard.

Show me where Blizzard asked to be involved in this crap. Blizzard was happy being a business and not some political magnet until Blitz boy opened his mouth.

  1. Be mad at the UK for giving Hong Kong back to China.
  2. Be mad at China for losing the O.pium (srsly, this is a filtered word?) wars and ceding Hong Kong to the UK.
  3. Be mad at China for the decadence of the Emperor and bad Nation management, leading to the rise of Mao.
  4. Be mad at Japan for toppling the Imperial Government and paving the road to the rise of Mao.
  5. Be mad at China for repeating the same cycle of splintering, oppression, unification war, dissent, oppression, splintering, unification war for the past 5,000 years.

Because he did it in a venue where it was inappropriate to do it, and in violation of the terms of use (which he agreed to).

Supporting HK is not the issue, it’s where and how he made his statements that is the issue.

It’s pretty much this. The only people that are defending them are those that are hopelessly addicted to the game and thus need their dopamine fix.
