I just don’t get all the hate for multiboxers what is the deal? What’s wrong with me running my alts through dungeons?
There is nothing 5 multi boxxed characters can do that 5 individually controlled characters can’t. Indeed the individually controlled characters will often do much better.
So no, not pay to win.
So you’re entitled to ez mode gaming? You could use the same argument to defend botting.
1 player should not have the power of 5 just because he paid more money.
So they should base the decision of making multiboxing an exploit because you ONLY use it to run dungeons? Logic???
I’ll call in and let them know not to make it an exploit because Heyford only uses it to run alts.
I agree and with the rank 14 comment, classic pvp ranking is a trash can system.
Okay, I think it’s arguable whether it’s pay to win or not, but let’s explore that: Pay to win is not unfair. Everyone can pay, and thus everyone can “win.”
I don’t support pay to win at all, and I think it’s a terrible and prevalent practice in the gaming industry, but that’s different than it being unfair.
That’s not what an exploit is. Please learn the meaning of the words you’re using.
That’s not the result of multiboxing, and pool partying isn’t an exploit in the first place.
As far as I know, you can’t replicate clicks, but sure, that’s a problem. Maybe the fix there is to change it so items can’t be gathered by multiple people at the same time?
Yeah, Blizzard does. Go look up Blizzard’s definition of exploiting, because just because something isn’t allowed doesn’t mean it’s an exploit.
Feel free to explain, with data, the impact multiboxers have.
Botters are obvious as the difference is essentially a 24/7, nearly perfect performance of the best gold farms players can do, but what impact do multiboxers have on the economy?
THANK YOU BLIZZARD !!!
ALL MULTIBOXERS ARE SCUM!
HAHA VICTORY!
wooooooo
How is it easy mode? It takes me 4-6 hours to do BRD. Have you ever multiboxed 5 different classes doing three different jobs? Botting doesn’t involve anything it involved pressing start and then coming back in a few hours to check on progress.
I got what I wanted and I was active against multiboxing on the threads on this forum. But I don’t think those complaints on those threads had anything to do with blizzard making this change.
Yeah running my hunter through DM for three days to get the swords was a really crappy thing to do.
you lose scum! GG
Clearly you missed my point. I’m getting punished because some people are botting or being jerks on PVP servers or whatever. I didn’t do anything to affect the game for anyone else and it’s taking the joy out of the game for me.
They’re making it an actionable offense meaning you’re exploiting by using multiboxing in some form or fashion whether it be the economy or gaining rep.
You’re exploiting a system by multiboxing
Another person I’m going to block for being a jerk.
Making multiboxing against tos has NOTHING to do with pvp I guarantee you that. Pvp’r have been getting crapped on by blizzard for 10 years, they literally don’t care about our feedback.
Only recently when BFA bombed and shadowlands projected to bomb are they finally realizing that when pvp is bad in wow then all of wow is bad.
Go read their post and you will see why they’re doing what they’re doing.
Making multiboxing against tos has NOTHING to do with pvp I guarantee you that.
Did you only see the word PVP in my post and then ignored the rest? Multiboxers are being banned due to botting I’m not botting I’m just trying to get dungeons done even if it takes me three to four times as long.
u cant ban hardware silly cuz they cant see it lmao… the switch is before the computer… the computer itself has no idea you are using a swithc and thus neither will warden lmao… lol the only detection is blizz gm walks in your house and see you doing it
If Blizz changes the ToS to blanket ban mirroring regardless of hardware or software, they won’t need to see your hardware to ban you, all they’ll need to see is you mirroring in-game which is blatantly obvious to an investigating GM watching you for a few minutes.
They’re making it an actionable offense meaning you’re exploiting by using multiboxing in some form or fashion whether it be the economy or gaining rep.
How do people gain rep by multiboxing? How is multiboxing affecting the economy?
Blizzard doesn’t need to see anything as far as I can tell a GM isn’t involved with bans at all and they don’t really care if they make a mistake and ban the wrong people.
Blizzard didn’t ban multi-boxing btw. People need to understand that…
