There will be two new mains and an 11 episode mini series wrapping up Ash’s story.
Ash in the last season beat the world champion so he’s finally the very best like noone ever was.
I’m surprised that the show is still running. I thought it ended years ago.

Honestly most folks I know have no intention of watching so I figure the interested know all the preview stuff and the vaguely interested who watched as kids are just reading articles.
What I need for closure is a good send off for Team Rocket personally, they have always been my favorites. As a grown adult I sometimes watched the show just for them.
I know, I am very cool.
I don’t look for previews or spoilers. Just so I can go in blind.

I stopped watching during Johto. It was sometime after Ash beat the bird Gym Leader.
One reason I never completed Gold/Silver. At a certain point I didn’t even have a vague idea of where to go next.
I stopped watching during Johto too and checked back in a couple years ago when I heard Sun/Moon was good.
I still drop into the anime every now and then mostly to follow Team Rocket.
