I was just looking at the new Shiv. It says it dispells all enrage effects and applies a concentrated for of you active non-lethal poison. Does this work with Atrophic poison? I know from the past that master poisoner doesn’t work with it so was wondering if shiv works with it. If it does what percentage of damage is reduced?
edit. Actually master poisoner does work. I think reapplying attrophic poison overides the one from shiv
It should, but I also imagine that whether it works may be very case dependent. Some bosses seem immune to things for arbitrary reasons.
I don’t know about how much it effects AP, but iirc it’s a 20% boost to crippling’s snare.
well if its 20% then one or the other doesn’t work haven’t played around enough to see which one.
It does not. Based on what I’ve been able to dig up in the past it sounds like it originally did and Rogues were using Shiv as essentially a raid cooldown, which Blizzard promptly nerfed (I have not confirmed this is true however so this could be hearsay). Either way, there is no concentrated form of Atrophic Poison.
Yep! Atrophic with it applies 3.6% damage reduction - just often tooltips don’t show the precise value.
This is pretty much how it happened. It was awesome for about 10 minutes.
Another tooltip that makes it seem better than it its. Works on all non-damaging poisons except…..
