IF blizzard had NEVER crossed the appearance lines EVER…not a single time…THEN maybe these anti’s in here would have some semblance of a point.
But as has been proven, this goes back to CLASSIC where PLATE mogs looked like anything BUT plate…so none of them have a single valid argument to make here
Seriously, thst was the most fun way to play BG3. Grab your enemies… and throw them into other enemies, damaging both. Tavern Brawler feat, ring of flinging from the Druid grove, and so on.
Yes, but thats the point.
You have variants under the theme “Warrior”.
If I want my Warrior to look like part of a in game organization, or anything that represents the character beyond their class, it is still a bit limited.
Maybe my Warrior is an Earthen Beekeeper.
Plate armor doesnt fit the idea of Beekeeper.
Whole point is, having variety doesn’t hurt. I eagerly look to the new cosmetics Blizzard give, but if they aren’t planning to give us stuff that already exists but bound by class barriers, then I can think its “meh”.
Exactly Conan the barbarian would absolutely classify as a class warrior and yet he runs around in underwear LOL no armor at all.
Absolutely no valid reason not to open up our transmog collections to use in any way we see fit
And I seriously have to question the integrity of anybody that comes in here complaining that it’s somehow going to ruin their game for them. That sounds like a personal problem not a game problem
Another irony here is that the armor that our characters are wearing is supposed to cover pretty much every slot on our sheet in the game LOL
And yet every day in the auction house I see a female character in there with a very skimpy bottom and a skimpy top on almost like she’s in a thong
Maybe someone can explain to me what armor type that is because to me it looks like bare skin I ain’t no armor at all and yet I don’t see anybody really complaining about that. LOL
If you’re going to whine about class fantasy here then I believe that if somebody is a priest or a mage then they should be covered head to toe in robes or something to that effect
And yet somebody’s running around in their underwear supposedly supposed to be covered in cloth armor LOL from the neck down
So if I have a character that wears plate armor and every slot is filled with plate armor and then I have transmogged it so that it’s all invisible except for my legs somebody please explain to me how that’s any different than what we’re talking about right here because clearly I’m not transmogging every piece to even be seen so it looks like I’m not wearing a full suit of played armor
I really don’t see how that’s any different and yet we’re allowed to do that too and yet we keep seeing these threads made by people saying they don’t want to ruin their class fantasy when in fact their class fantasy was ruined back in classic LOL
