The great thing about wow is it changes and evolves, what doesn’t look like a “wow pvp mode” these days in a few years will prob look like a no-brainer. If people playing wow in vanilla say pvp today, they would say the same thing you’re saying now. You are stuck in this mode of It’s a BR it’s not wow, It’s not really fully a BR it’s a wow game mode that can in essence because it’s using wows engine be added to retail at any point.

No extra charge compared to other WoW versions. But the point was that there was going to be pay elements, and so far it’s free.

Since Blizz decided not to have a PTR before releasing Plunderstorm this is definitely a test.
With the event supposed to end in 6 weeks there’s no telling what data Blizz would have collected. Like would this be the best way to give PvPers more content? Is there enough interest to merit a battlepass for this mode? And whatever other feedback they get.
But I guess we can only wait and see what happens after the event goes away.

We definitely agree on some stuff, it’s good we have common ground. you may find it to be a fun offshoot and i’m glad your enjoy it. but i’ll continue agree with your previous statements
Well, yeah. The point I was making is that we’re basically just playing a beta version and at some point blizzard will eventually release a f2p stand alone version that will be fully monetized with your usual f2p stuff. This version isn’t free to someone without Dragonflight and active game time. Someone who quit 5 years ago just can’t log in and play this, but I believe eventually they will be able to in the future.
Personally I just hope all the mogs end up on the trading post in the future. I just can’t bring myself to engage in this game mode anymore than the few games I tried. It’s not fun for me.
It’s easy to cherry-pick the first part of a sentence, and troll on your alt character profile. It’s a totally different thing to actually have a conversation about something. The mode was not intended to be some profit generator because it has no microtransactions or other cost associated to it other than what we already pay for and that’s our subs. Its a good demo of a game mode and not a meant to be a profit generator anyway.
