I know I’m not the first to talk about this, but seriously… It takes way too long to get renown - even for someone who may truly enjoy Plunderstorm. It will take weeks of grinding matches daily to chip away at this monstrous iceberg.

Find someone to duo with. You will get so much more plunder that way.

Since this event is advertised to the entire WoW community, then the grind to get 40 renown shouldn’t be what it is.

Almost Half a Week actually (80 hours), quicker with duos given somebody else in your squad will pick up the plunder and it counts for both of you. And apparently quicker to get into games too as Duo.
But i do agree it should be lowered. 33% at very least.

Agree, wish I could just pay $50-100 for the transmogs and never have to do this. WIsh there was another way or even just normal wow PvP.

Will it? I’m already Renown 19 and it’s Thursday night. It came out Tuesday so… I’ve played it for 3 work days. I imagine if I were to just degen this out during the weekend I would be “done” by Sunday.
This also. You get almost twice as much plunder since you’re not competing to loot it, AFAIK it’s completely shared.
Plus I think duos is more fun. To be fair with the Flame Whirl nerf I do feel that solos are a bit more fun and diverse - I’ve won a few times with void bomb and I won with the fish - but overall I still think duos are better.
Just another example that Blizzard doesnt understand their players.

I am 12/40. And I am terrible lol. I feel I am progressing much faster then in game reps where I never even finished the original DF reps.

i mean, seriously, i just wanna get my quests in the event, done, and kill npcs for plunder, but nooooooooooo, the event is infested out the yin-yang with pvp-happy griefers who have no lives and get their jollies off of making the event miserable for others

Nope some players got lvl 40 the next day…not weeks…
