I reached level 36 renown and unlocked the Plunderlord’s Silver Cutlass. While the reward says it is available for retail and plunderstorm it is not available when selecting transmog in plunderstorm. I have the item in retail and I did restart the client but no luck. Searching for how to apply the look I found a video of a renown 40 player(‘Boxxsie Renown 40 With Plunderlord’s Attire Set (Plus Glamrok The Crab!)’ if you need to look it up) and at 1:37 when they select their weapon you can see that the Plunderlord’s Silver Cutlass is not available for them either.

Have you looked under 2 handed swords?
Not the first post I have seen about this item.
It’s a 2 handed sword much to some peoples surprise, so, if the class you are attempting to view this on via a transmogger cannot equip a 2 handed sword, it will not show up.
Is there such a thing in Plunderstorm?
There are no classes in Plunderstorm, you enter in and can select from the wardrobe options which are available to any character. All weapons are under the same option of “I’d like to change my weapon appearance.” That is where Plunderlord’s Silver Cutlass is missing.
I have the same issue; got Renowned 36, tried to switch my weapon in Plunderstorm and there’s no dialogue option for the Plunderlord’s Silver Cutlass.
Haven’t checked in Retail yet. I’m commenting at maintenance time so I can’t check right now, but I assume like you stated it’s unlocked for retail’s transmog system. Will check when the servers are back up.
In the lobby of the Plunderstorm match right before I got 36 someone else in chat asked where the silver cutlass was. Clearly this isn’t an isolated incident.
Um… there are no classes in Plunderstorm. We don’t use the normal transmog system, we use dialogue options with an NPC in the match lobby. We can’t look under “two-handed swords”, there’s only “change my weapon” and “change my gun”.
Different game mode, different system.
Also… cutlasses aren’t two-handed swords… why did they classify it as a two-handed sword?! And the Calcified Claymore is one-handed… no! Claymores are two handed swords, or at the very minimum “hand and a half”… gah!
Sometimes I wonder how much research goes into the naming and classification of items in this game… I mean… we have a bunch of “tricorn” hats that only have two points… “tricorn” literally means “three corners” /facepalm
I am also missing the silver cutlass from my Plunderstorm weapon appearances menu. I have located the appearance in my retail transmog collection, but there is no way to equip it for Plunderstorm. In addition, I too would like to comment on the fact that it’s super weird the cutlass is a 2h weapon while the claymore is a 1h. We should definitely be able to equip the cutlass transmog as a 1h weapon.
