Especially human! Literally the only shamans we have irl are well… human lol. And in diablo the voodoo doctor, which I’m sure is just another name for Shaman, is human! Pwease bwizzard, pwease!!

They should just unlock all classes for all races. They havent stuck to lore in a long time so why cling to it.
Last time a chart was made (2019) it was the least played race, not shocking due to their design which is basically Pandaren with a human skin.

They’re going to unlock all races as shaman at the same time. Your strange idea of humans getting it first will not come to pass.
Why do people want all races unlocked for every class.
I think it adds a bit of flavor to each class.
Also people never really talk about this when asking for all races for all classes, but it isn’t necessarily just a simple design choice to allow all races for all classes but it becomes a balancing issue as well.
For example, what if Druids could be dwarves? Well then you would have Guardian Druids that are even more OP than they currently are.
I really wish they’ll give us skinny Kul’Tiran option which is a copy paste of forsaken model with life to them, to me they look a bit silly as a big shaman. I have an Alliance Dwarf shaman; I need another I can’t bring myself to play a space goat shaman and don’t want to make another Dwarf and I have too many panda characters.
Shaman I bet is next on the list for class openings, it shouldn’t take too long to design totems for each race.
I just hope the totems are not as bulky as the AR’s.

They are working on animations for races that don’t have those classes.
It’s not like flipping a light switch.
Game has been out for 18 years and they tossed lore out 3 expansions ago mate. Is the light swing on Mars? Also, the animations already exist and just need to be attached to the class skin, then do adjustments for height. They are not being created from scratch each time. Go download any one of the many free 3d animation software out there and try it yourself.
This is literally how games like Skyrim can get an animation mod that alters any character as the character creation has limitations in size differences that make testing the animations easily adjustable and then made into a mod that works for everyone. The animation is done, just need the skin added to it and a bit of tweaking and then made into its own file for a game like this.
