Content is on farm, can we be allowed to upgrade our gear now?

Atleast in my circles it’s kinda slowing down. The people who wanted KSM/KSH have it and we’ve caught up the stragglers.
Now would be a decent time to remove it, but also I’m not spamming keys so they could go either way IMO.
I literally can’t tho. I hit the cap.

I’m a little confused. All of my gear is 626 and I have a few pieces at 636 And I am not at the crest cap yet.
Either you crafted a bunch of pieces unnecessarily or you’re asking that should have 636 across the board not even 2 months into the expansion.

You don’t have any gilded used it seems?
To be fair, you do run out of crests if youre trying to upgrade the entire champion track from 1/8
Timegatting sucks.
Stop spamming low keys and you’ll stop getting low crests. You’re not even the target demographic that needs cap removed. You just need to actually do content that’s not a press w to win cakewalk.
What content do you have on farm?
Also buff crests again from heroic dungeons/m0’s
yeah the cap serves no purpose at the moment, especially with the anniversary event coming up too.

Only way I could see crest cap being an issue at this point is if you are purposefully going out of your way to upgrade 1/x track items and actively avoiding looting gear
Actually very easy to hit crest cap. Especially if you were not familiar with the system (like myself) and if trying to get into higher content you end up maxing out champion gear (myself) to get ilvl high enough to do higher end content. Seems disingenuous to say it’s impossible. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess

To limit yourself from being able to do that.
Better to use gilded on mythic or crafted pieces.
How about you? You’re not even max lvl.
And yeah I upgraded lower gear to get into higher content - had no idea we would max on crests so fast.

Terrible design in that case, you are not supposed to upgrade gear until its “worth it” I guess.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve converted 2 weeks worth of runed crests into gilded crests.
