Pls Kill off Baine. We dont need alliance in the horde

This is just my opinion but i really dont think Baine should be a leader of the horde. All he does is cry and complain about everything and goes crying to his bf Anduin. Why is there even a Horde leader that is friends with the alliance and giving information to the enemy??
The guy says we should surrender and sign a treaty with the Alliance the moment King Rastakhan is killed right in front of us and when they looted the city and killed so many.
And he freed Derek and gave him back to the enemy even though the Alliance killed Rastakhan and killed so many Zandalari not too long ago.
Have the Tauren always been this cowardly?
Thankfully Sylvanas is there to tell him how much of a coward he is and actually fight the alliance back and take out as many of them as possible.
If the Alliance want Baine please let them take him. He isnt horde at all. Give us Magatha Grimtotem or a Tauren leader that isnt a coward and who won’t have a hard-on for people in the Alliance.
I would like to know everyones opinions on this.
Would the Alliance want someone in their midst that would give info to the enemy, would always want peace and suggest surrendering when a ally is killed and so many killed others.
I dont know about anyone else but for me Baine shouldnt be with the horde. Hes more Alliance than Horde.

Couldn’t agree more.

Baine exiled all the brave tauren when they retaliated against the alliance attack on Taurajo.

Garrosh did nothing wrong.

NO. Just him.

When he did his “Camp Taurojo was a valid military target” BS, he exiled any tauren that wanted revenge.

That sounds like an interesting prospect

Ethics would disagree.

Maybe b/c its an unwarranted war? Who started the war? Sylvanas did. Alliance aren’t the enemy, the despot currently in charge of the Horde is the enemy. She shouldn’t even be the Warchief, Vol’jin thought his loa told him to pick her to succeed him, but we later find out he never did, and in fact, Bwonsamdi isn’t too fond of her.

Everything she has done is to inflict the most damage possible despite there being no provocation. Alliance has been on the defensive for a long time, this new raid is them being on the offensive. They asked for this and they are getting it back in spades. Any intelligent human being can see that this is a bad war, and playing the victim to justify your actions to fool the ignorant clearly works not only in real life, but in this game as well.

I think people need to realize differences between “cowardly” and looking out for their own people. Baine had, and in some ways, still has a chance to be seen as the right leader for the Tauren but, like Sylvanas, has been hit with bad writing.

There was a time when data mining revealed that he would defend his people and his lands. The proper showing for Baine, in the case of Camp T would have been “It was a legitmate target, as was Theramore and I have exiled those seeking vengeance but, legitmate target or not, I will defend my people and their lands from attack.”

Baine has just been shown in a way that, as opposed to being a foil for Sylvanas and the warmonger parts of the Horde, he is just a pushover in his drive for peace and not wanting his people to die in POINTLESS wars.

Keep in mind it is likely alongside Baine that we will be finding out who the spirit that told Vol’jin to make Sylvanas Warchief was and there is more to him that we might not know yet. He could very well be the leader the Tauren need and the voice of reason in the Horde.

We all need to keep in mind that, once again, the Horde is split. There are those that are loyal to Sylvanas and her methods, those loyal to the ideals of Thrall’s Horde and those, like me, that see merit in some of the things Sylvanas does but she goes at least that one step too far. I am more Thrall’s Horde but my ideal for dealing with alliance? we leave them alone for the most part, they attack us? we counter, they are willing to trade? we will work something out, they need our help with a world threat? we will give it. However, it might take some things like Sylvanas is doing to even get us to that point.

What I am hoping for, at the end of all this, is Alliance holds the Eastern Kingdoms, Horde holds Kalimdore, expansion continents are split or go to the faction that has the most land there and we get maybe more a forced peace due to the separation which would make attacking each other hard to do due to logistics.

Yeah that would be a nice outcome. But for me my opinion on Baine isnt going to change anytime soon. In my eyes he isnt leader worthy. A leader wouldnt suggest a surrender and treaty when the “people and their lands” he is supposed to protect die. It is probably bad writing yeah but im not surprised about that haha.

The whole Taurajo is justified has really damaged his character beyond repair, or at least in my eyes. They really can’t fix a character like him. I almost want Magatha Grimtotem to take off, but that would probably end in Morally grayTM overdose.

All I have read on such is that he is suggesting to open negotiations, a bit of a common occurrence and something that, if Sylvanas was really the genius she is made out to be, could also turn to her advantage by putting the alliance off guard in some areas.

Yeah, Blizzard really dropped the ball there.

Why not Mayla Highmountain? The Tauren really need a leader that is brave, strong and wise. Knows when to attack, when to defend and when to back off. If nothing else, we need a leader like Cairn was, Baine is good but he is no Cairn and he should not try to be.

Cairn would have killed Sylvanas the moment she snuffed out thousands of innocents in Darnassus. No hesitation, he would have cleaved her soul from her body with his axe and tried to formulate peace with the alliance, then the NE would have been the new bad guy because, well you just don’t get away with that kind of genocide without someone always wanting vengeance.

But you dont suggest open negotiations the moment King Rastakhan is dead right infront of you and the city is looted and sacked and their people are dead… You go after them and make them pay for what they did
