It’s ok to be obsessed with gear. You can plan your play time to optimize your chance to get the gear you want as fast as you want. But no one will play a game that’s not fun just to accumulate gear. The purpose for playing a game is to have fun. To get anyone to play it has to be fun. Fun is all the reason there needs to be. That’s the point you never consider. There’s many things in the game that are there just for fun. Transmog isn’t needed. No guild has ever made it a requirement that you transmog your character to do raids. Transmog doesn’t make you a better player. People do it just for fun. Lfr makes the game more fun for many players. That’s all the reason that’s needed for it to be added.
Look, the way you play the game isn’t fun for me. But you can play the game anyway you want. I’m not asking for changes to stop you. Let me play the game the way I want
