I have a home at 20 Rage Bloom Cliffs, and the plot size has changed! I selected this spot because of the outcropping with a picnic area and placed things there, now I get message that it’s outside my plot lines ???
You might want to post on the Housing forum. I am not sure if anyone else can provide some advice/feedback here, but there isn’t much a GM could do with this type of situation, nor likely one of the SFAs on the forum.
If you think there is actually a bug, your best bet is to post on the Bug Report forum.
The boundaries were reduced at Midnight launch to mitigate some Housing bugs.
Unfortunately it did especially affect Horde properties, as the housing options tend toward greater circumference.
If you have anything at the edges of your properties, and wish for them to remain there, I’d refrain from moving those items.
Yes, horde lost plot size. Interestingly, though, my alliance house gained a bit.
Hopefully they decide to increase the plot size. The larger houses look silly on such a small lot. IMHO
It won’t let me move the items, I can’t click on them from within the post lines, and who I try and go to them, the edit function drops off
If you are fine with just removing them from where they are placed and putting them back into your Decor Catalog, then you can use this method to do that.
While outdoors at your House, go into Edit Mode and select Advanced Mode.
That will then put a Placed Decor List icon near your top right of the screen. Click the icon and you can then find the Decor item in the list and right-click on the name to remove it from placement.
Personally, I feel gnomes should get like 1/6th the lot size to begin with
Same with Vulpera.
Honestly, I want den like housing, where we have to go into a hole to access my house.
I’d like a door or portal you can just stick onto an existing structure.
Eh, I just want the tiny slice of out cropping where I put them added back into my plot. This tiny slice cannot be part of anyone els’s because of the placement and having it in the ‘wider world’ just does not make any sense, and just to whine a bit more, I had it from when early housing first started, so just to arbitrarily take it away is just silly
Completely understandable.
And, I can NOT recover any items in the now fenced off areas. I can be in edit mode standing at the edge, and it will not allow me to grab the things I have place in what is now off limits.
So do the items not appear in the Placed Decor List I posted about earlier?
Depends, sometimes it seems if they are out of bounds they aren’t considered placed in terms of advanced edit, but are in terms of placed decor budget. I’ve had this problem since they changed plot size of horde 52 razorwind. I’ve also refused to move the placed decor, they can just accept I am stealing land now because they screwed up.
