But why? Rank 40’s have been trickling in for days already and it’s been less than a week (you’ve earned that bathroom break guys). What reason could there possibly be to need that much warning?

You’ve got until .7 to try from what I understand. I’d assume it will be here until early May at best.
I’m not sure we need an official Blizz announcement to put away fears of reaching that achievement though.
I doubt they’d put it in if it was going to be impossible, if they did, they will probably change it at some point.

I personally just want a deadline because I don’t enjoy the grind. I learned that I actually kind of like the minigame in small doses, a handful of games here and there, but I also don’t want to miss rewards I am playing the game to earn. Having a genuine date-deadline would help me to at least have benchmark goals to reach 40 while also allowing me to enjoy the mode, instead of hating the grind.

This is it for me. Right now im panic-spamming PS and its making me cranky. If i knew i needed to do X games a day, i could budget better.

Land in corner - do quest - run into storm to die - rinse and repeat.

I don’t plan on grinding it at all so that probably brings down my level of care about when it ends.
Either way the reading I’ve done says the event will end with the next season and that the best guess at when that is will be early to mid May. If that’s not enough to get a general idea of what you’re going to be able to complete idk what to say.
