All it does is encourage boosters to sell rating, whether it be for gold or real $$$, it is harmful to the game. It destroys entire games where 1 person can effect the outcome of a win or loss. Boosters give players access to rating they shouldn’t be at and other people in the BG did not consent to the boosting.
I see so many streamers selling these boost and even have it in their titles. Please stop allowing these people to do this because people with actual jobs and real life log in to play to have fun, and these people who make a living out of it ruin it for these honest players.

Duo queue in a solo queue game mode is indefensible trash. it should have been laughed at and discarded at first glance, yet here we are.
it needs to be removed next season. there is no debate to be had here.

It didn’t seem like an issue at first, but I forgot how opportunistic people are and will jump at the chance to make gold or $$$ by selling boost. Like, is everyone else in that BG going to get a cut too? How is that okay?
At the very least they should clearly state that any type of boosting is not allowed (whether for gold or $$$) and ban people for doing it.

for sure. it is blatantly opening the door to boosting / abuse. its unacceptable nonsense.

I’m almost certain there were threads calling this out, well before the game mode released.
I mean, I don’t blame the devs for wanting to allow 2 friends to queue together. It’s the the boosters who care very little for the regard of other players.
I’m sure there was. It hits different when it actually starts happening and you can feel the full effects of it.

I bet it does, I was more suggesting that a company like blizzard should at least have as much foresight as the player base does.
Honestly, i do when they actually put it into the game. i get the sentiment, but its their job to ensure that belligerent abusive crap systems aren’t deployed and this is one of those things that is just total nonsense. especially with how its designed and not actually available to all players. like the whole team can’t be 5 duo queues… its just screwed from the get go.
It does defeat the whole purpose of it being a solo queue. I wonder if it’s possible to reverse it? I honestly doubt it is tbh because a lot of complaints RBGers had was that they enjoyed playing with all their friends, which would basically be taken away with BGB; so, naturally, duo queue is the next best option.

I honestly think they could just disable it whenever and a few people would cry on the forums, get ratioed, and thats that.
Not to say that i dont understand the plight of the RBGer who now has a completely dead game mode. but way she goes i guess. I couldn’t stand RBGs due to the cheating and ‘team jockeying’ that was always going on.
go back to shadowlands where the god awful gear upgrades by rating bracket was in the game. if you wanted a maxed out pvp toon, you played a healer and team hopped RBGs. thats all RBGs were. patiently find a team 100 rating above your CR that needs YOU, for a quick bump. healers being by far the best way to ride that train.
