Please stop these warmaster pulls in AV

This just feels too much like exploiting to the point where Blizzard should intervene. Forget the fact its taking most horde 35+ minutes to get into a game. Most games end with someone on the alliance pulling the elites outside of the room and causing them to path to the point where Drek is dead before they even reach the puller. This has to be exploiting and this needs Blizzard attention. This has been going on for too long.

Honest question - can’t horde do the same thing? Aggro warmasters, run to bridge or south bunker or whatever and jump off, throwing out some random quick AOE to keep them from resetting. Vann resets, horde attacks.

It’s not an exploit.

Horde can’t do the same because the horde doesn’t have pally bubble. Its an auto loss for the horde every time.

Horde doesn’t need to do it. 9/10, they have none of their towers burned, all 4 alliance bunkers gone, so there are no marshals to get in the way.

I seriously lmao at “all about the zugzugs” hahahaha I’ve never heard that one before

ya just like not killing the bosses before the final one its not an explit

Honestly it doesn’t matter because Alliance only wins when they do full pre mades (remember this alliance puggers). Horde is always split between zerg ttards that think they can outzerg the heavily geared pre mades, ones that realize they can’t win without defense, or ones that have already given up and are just pulling Bal and Lt/Com to maximize honor. Since the match is already a decided victory, I don’t think bi passing warmasters will even make a deal until horde can get organized enough to do a full defensive match against a pre made.

I agree with you OP. All this stuff is contrary to the spirit of the game, and the spirit of the game should take priority over everything else.

This is supposed to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but some are treating it as if it’s the new hot e-sport where ignoring the spirit of the game is key.

It’s a recipe for disaster. You’re only gonna get trolled in here unfortunately, because people would rather look smart and try to win arguments with witty quips and insults instead of figuring out a solution.

Good Luck.

Mages have ice block, cold snap, instant AoE, slowfall and blink. Seems like that should be enough to achieve the same effect.

They won’t intervene, move on with your life. This is a can of worms they do not want to open. There are so many exploits and bugs on both sides they would never stop tweaking av and there are supposed to be nochanges to begin with.

Accept it, nothing is going to change.

There’s a way to stop it, get a mage/rogue combo at the falls and sheep/stun lock after his bubble runs out, the bubble lasts till about the bridge, after that run from behind the gate and cuck the pally. PoM mages are really good for this.

The sooner this is spread, the better.

Hunters, warlocks, mages are all perfectly viable backups. Hell, you can use lesser invulnerability potions to duplicate a BoP, and free action potions to duplicate BoF.

As Jental said, there are also counters. Divine Shield is not infinite in duration, nor instant in cooldown.

Those aren’t bosses, those are trash mobs, or adds at best.

That is why we mass recall, kill the person trying to kite and the warmasters go ape all over the ally.

Horde can Prospector pull which is even worse than this, albeit 95% of the time someone kills her accidentally on purpose.

That is why Mages just Improved Counterspell you and kill you.

dont even need to do that.

Mage blizzard and run and iceblock, while vann runs back pull him back out of the aggro range of the marshals.

We can do it too, just people are really not that smart sometimes on horde.

Which is why it needs to be a MASS recall.

Leadership and coordination are not most PuGs strong suits, unfortunately.

It’d take your entire team at the same time to be effective, and then it’s basically just a reset of the game. We run back south and do it again.

More likely is the Horde just trickle in one or two at a time because they’re uncoordinated, die before they can even move, then wait another 30 seconds to do it again, only for Drek to be dead in 15 seconds.
