There are actually many different timezones around the globe. It can be before lunch where you are, and a different time somewhere else.

I think in Asia they are hitting night right now, so, he must be from those zones, but still, blizz really sheduled maintendance when in another part of the world are on friday night, that is a really poor choice

downtime has to happen whether you like it or not, because the servers would become progressively worse and worse. you dont need to be on wow 24/7 bud. a few hours away from your elf wont kill you.

You’d be surprised how often you hear this sort of thing as a South East Asian, for example. Whether it’s sarcasm or not. So I wouldn’t blame someone for taking offense. This is more appropriate of a joke if you know someone. But xenophobia and racism are the kind of things that should come with a bit more sensibility in my opinion.

So I’ll call them out for it.

Takes multiple people to flag before an action is taken, so obviously others agreed.

And the BE’s post seems to be gone as well so either it got reported and actioned against or they deleted it. So everything is working as intended.
