I need 3 leather. I don’t want to buy a stack of 20. You can use auctionner addon to post them 1 by 1. Or at least, 5 by 5.

So annoying these 20 stacks…. Now I need to pay for 20, use 3 and vendor 17.

Not even.

I’m level 42. I’m finishing blacksmith quests. It takes a lot of time, farm. And then Only need 3x thick leather for 2xHeavy mithril boots (I had 5 already). Going AH : Only 20 stacks….

Yes, but it takes time and I want my quest done ! I’ve already farmed 300xMithril myself, I consider I put enough time here

Buying singles is annoying.

Also: Just ask a guildy if you only need like 3, why waste gold on the AH?

I’ll retry in 9.0. BfA was not for me at all.

At level 42 ? Yep it takes time. About 5-6H of total played.

Probably a troll, but just in case:
1> buy the 20 stack and put 17 back on the ah or give to guildies/guildbank
2> the stack sizes are quite random in a variety of ways and usually tons of single stacks, or people unloading random 2-19 pieces they got out of a chest or no longer get skill points from.

I spent 8 hours in Vanilla farming mithril at level 40.
You’re complaining about doing an optional quest.

Just ask your guildies for the leather you need for it, they’ll probably give it to you for free. If they don’t, get a better guild.

Edit:
As for the hour long mail wait.
Ask while you’re farming the mithril, or like, go to Org and meet them.
Problem solved.

NO. I’m complaining about people posting auctions 20 by 20. I like when it’s 1 by 1 : You can buy exactly the amount you need.

Stacks of 20 is better than stacks of 1.
You can save the excess for later, or as someone else said, you can repost it.
You’re complaining to complain.

True. But you still pay deposit. So basiclly you are paying more.

I know, I do that with my low level mats. I think I was unlucky : Only 1 page, full of 20 stacks

I hope you do, actually, all joking aside. I’ll admit BfA wasn’t their best, but coming off Legion after giving us those awesome weapons and then taking them away, I didn’t have hopes this would be a world beater either.

I hope it will be better. But there is one point they can’t have in retail and classic has :

The fixed in stone progression. I don’t care to spend 2h fishing in classic. Why ? Because it will not be lost in 3 months *like retail).

There is a sense of progression. There is none on retail. And until that changes, I ll try every expac, but without too much hope

  2. Sell the remaining 17 on the AH in amounts of 5, 5, 5, 1, and 1.
  3. Mark them up slightly since apparently no one else is doing this and others will naturally only need a few like you did.
