I do both mythic raiding and m+ and I agree. Where the flying fruit basket bucket are the nerfs to the other healers already out performing? What about the bug they won’t ever fix? Insanely almost incomprehensibly worthless developers

I’m just sad because we were baited in beta with a fast paced, effective Hpal gameplay where holy shock was strong, Wog was strong and we could dps more with SotR having HI.
Yeah Herald was insanely OP, but all I ever wanted was the core spells to feel good to use. It’s been downhill non stop every week almost since that.

No they were not. It was an opinion you had solely based off your experience. That was not the case for most Hpal. I am doing very well in Raids just started heroic with ease, but the HPAL is NODES behind other healers. Its not funny. Its not cool. They BUFFED pres evoker for what? They buffed SHAMAN for what?
But they nerfed Hpal once again. Its going to happen again. Especially when people don’t make the lightsmith switch. They’re pushing for LIGHTSMITH healers and I’ll be Damned if I make that switch. It’s terrible. barf
The nerf is not necessary. NO ONE can explain blizzards reasoning this time.

The first nerf wasnt good, but it wasn’t terrible and as long as it kept us away from the #1 spot and in theory the chopping block, I was fine with it. At least our abilities still felt like they did something.
But this is starting to look like a repeat if DFS3, where we just got blasted by more and more aura nerfs until the whole spec just fundamentally stops functioning.
We can’t even assume they want us to switch to Lightsmith, because LS still looks noticeably weaker at actually healing compared to HotS, because of the bloody aura nerfs.

Exactly. Since then, we have received a 11% aura nerf.
11% is not insignificant, is enough to take a meta spec that was a cut above like MW in S3, and drop it down to middle of the pack.
Before the 11% nerf, paladin WAS an A tier healer, only below Shaman in m+ and below evoker in raid. Since then Rdruid has received 17% buffs to their auras, evoker will be brought in line but still be good, and Rshammy is basically untouched. With this latest nerf, Hpal will be bottom of the pack in HPS in raid, as it should be since we brought devo.
But this wasnt the correct approach to nerfing Hpal, it was first fixing the Dawnlight bug, then nerfing Herald in Raid environments if needed.
By nerfing overall paladin healing two times in 2 weeks, makes the 11.0 rework pointless in the same way they made rhe 10.1.5 rework uselessn and they are watering down how the spec feels, and continue to push Lightsmith into oblivion.
Not only that but the buffs they are doing to LS are just passive numbers buffs. Why they removed Glimmers and nerfed Tyrs/Beacons if they are just gonna buff LS passives instead of reworking it to actually have active, impactful abilities and be a gold alternative to herald?
We are pretty close to the same S3 DF point now, since now Paladin is both lowest DPS and HPS in M+ again, and our spot healing is weaker than before. One more 5% aura nerf and then a 100% buff to FoL and we are back to that mess minus the button bloat, jesus christ.

You also continue to be wrong lmao. Preservation is being nerfed by like 25% overall… they aren’t being buffed.
Shaman’s healing also isn’t the reason they are the meta pick this season.
