Please stop nerfing Holy Paladin - Too much nerfs already

Hi all,

I am a lowbie and newbie so hopefully I could represent 80% to 90% of the players who are mostly newbies and lowbies.

Many players roll a holy paladin given the recent changes and buffs and I am one of them, and I can see that in random BGs.

I believe the recent herfs are slightly over-kill already. The PvP mana regen is shockingly bad now. The healing is ordinary comparing to many healers, I am mostly outhealed by other healers in random BGs where I can free cast most of the time.

Holy Paladin’s movement speed is excessively low comparing to most of other healers. We are sitting ducks when getting focused. Personally, I am forced to enchant Chest with AGILITY in order to get 250 speed. This is silly.

Please, no more nerfs to Holy Paladin!

And please also buff hpal movement speed, 2% movement buff in talent is not enough, make it a 5% to 10%.

I’ll run 2s or 3s with you. I do 60-80k dps as affliction or demon until you get the hang of things.

dont do that remove that enchant lmfao its not worth the main stat loss

Hpal is still s+ tier with like hpriest, a tier is like druid/sham/voker, b tier is disc. this is factz

And also a message to all healers, if you believe holy paladin is strong, please roll one and play one.

With the removal of conquest cap, you can get full gears in 3 full days of play if you are constantly spamming Solo Shuffle.

I rolled one 2 days before the nerfs. I barely noticed difference outside the OCCASIONAL ooming, pally mana regen is extremely bad, but the amount of healing they can do before reaching that oom point is still extremely good. They still have some of the best external defensive cooldowns, extreme HPS, etc. My hpal is 2.3 in solo rn I think, around same as my other heals. They are still fine.

You should watch some CDEW solo shuffle on twitch. See how much heals they pump/how good they are. I genuinely feel like most of my other heals are below them save Hpriest which feels equal depending on match.

Mistakes I made originally on hpally were: not utilizing daybreak properly, not instantly putting up my tyrs, not using sac fast enough/right times, not shoving bops at right times. Rotating between wings/ using flash of light with holy shock crit buff, and using judgement on cd with holy shock crit buff. Get these down on a good rotation and you’ll be golden.

My healing brother, you have to do some research. Your class is very strong. The information is available it’s up to you if you want to improve or not.

Gear optimization everything it’s all there.

I used to be a Hpal main for years. I haven’t played it in 2 xpacs because it’s been clunky, badly designed, unfun to play, and undertuned outside of I think SL S1.

The rework actually made it fun to play again and is a little more reminiscent of older Hpal designs. It was definitely overtuned when the rework first hit. But after the nerfs I think the mana nerfs were overkill when added to everything else.

The throughput nerfs were deserved but now we’re back to ooming before almost every other healer it seems. Being out of mana a few minutes into the game just isn’t fun. I think in Shuffle they’re still arguably best healer because of their still high HPS and strong CDs - and games end before you can oom at least from my experience. But in regular 3s I’ve found myself losing because I simply go oom and can’t do anything.

I think a small rebuff to mana generation in pvp would put the class in a strong spot but still not the S++ tier it was at patch launch.

Also off-topic but the massive buff/nerf swings every tuning pass is a little ridiculous.

that’s insane

Mobility is fine with echoing blessing and 2 stacks of warhorse. BG healing is more than fine. Mana regen is not great but still workable. Make sure you use your procs on free flash of lights when you can and consider taking divine plea.

Also you need to get your tier 4-piece. This gives you 2 more big instant heals every 20 seconds which helps if you get trained. If your opponents are pouring everything into you and your teammates don’t help that’s not your problem. Ultimately dps wins games, not healers.

Get in line, Havoc DH are way ahead of you in requests.

Hmm. I’m of the mind that movement speed is an excellent stat but I’m not sure it’s worth dropping 150 int/str for.

It’s a skill issue for sure. I’m 389 ilvl goat and healing 16+ averaging 60k HPS and 45k DPS overall. Only way is up from here.

This has to be bait. LMFAO

Thank you mate. I will get them this week.

Maybe I am wrong, but I truly believe 4.5% speed increase is better than 150 intellect at the moment for me.

There’s no maybe about it. You’re wrong.
