So, I have been away from about a month or so, and I get back home to try and play WOW for the first time in a while now, and there is another patch (yayy :stuck_out_tongue:) that has removed yet ANOTHER useful element from the game, in the name of what??
The seem to have removed nearly all of the portals around the game, claiming they will be replaced by a nonexistent hub of portals in the capital cities. If their claims were true, this would be no true problem, but they are lying, because there is no such hub in the capitals. Every place that used to have a portal hub, now only has a single portal to the capital city, even new Dalaran. This is ridiculous, and cannot possibly serve any purpose to improve the game at all. Though almost none of their endless changes seems to add anything good to the game, and almost unanimously their changes are not so much expanding the game (Blizz, look up the word expansion please), but just another round of cuts.
What have they removed now, is generally my question whenever i see that the Blizz crew has a new ā€˜updateā€™ to the game. That is stretching the word update to its limit, as none of their so called ā€˜updatesā€™ ever add anything useful / fun to the game, and religiously seem to just take things away that players have gotten familiar with in the name of some mysterious game plan they pretend to have.

  1. First they all but destroyed professions with WoD /Legion, and again with BFA, where they split the professions into several categories that seems just lazy to meā€¦
  2. Second, also with the expansions, they seem to be phasing flying mounts out of the game, by making it next to impossible to get flying in any expansion after MoP, which also feels like laziness to meā€¦
  3. Now they are ruthlessly removing the convenience of portals from the game, for God knows what purpose, and then lying and saying there is a hub being added to the capital cities, that has never been addedā€¦
    So, my question is, WHEN does this all end Blizzard??
    Can you PLEASE stop ruining the game, and just make it fun again??
    If it ainā€™t broke donā€™t fix it, is a wise saying, could you Blizz guys just read, and understand this??
    Either that, or whenever you take something important to players out of the game, lower the subscription rates for the game to compensate, but please stop charging full price for the shell of a game that you have now left us.
    * Can anyone please tell me where I can find a portal hub now, or is there none left?? _
    * Elsewise, if there is a new portal hub in the capital cities, where is it then??

PS. You guys do realize that it is the Players, that you so heartlessly attack constantly, that pay your salaries right??
Without us, you would have to go find real jobs, like everyone elseā€¦

The game needs to address a lot of issue like leveling and getting around the game.

Iā€™m at the point where once my sub is up I will not have any interest on the endless grind and catching up.

They need to start being more respectful for other players time and not just artificially create problems like removing the portals that didnā€™t need to be removed.

Your mistake is thinking that capital cities outside of Stormwind and Orgrimmar matter. The devs have decided they donā€™t, which is why only SW and Org have portal hubsā€¦and those hubs have a fraction of the portals we had back in Legion Dalaran.

But donā€™t worry, because the devs in their wisdom have decided that if itā€™s not in SW/Org or Boralus/Dazarā€™alor, itā€™s irrelevant. Theyā€™re merely guiding us away from wasting our time, just like they removed PVP vendors so players could be protected from making wrong choices.

Papa Blizz knows whatā€™s best.

I am not questioning the ideas of the Blizz Dev team, but the supposed portal hubs that are claimed to be in the capital cities is not thereā€¦
There is only a single portal returning you to wherever you came from, and no other portals??

Its a new look for the portal room in the sw mage tower, not sure on the horde side yet, having check.

All the above. Now they might attempt a level squish, further taking away more we have earned. They will jack the entire game up further if they attempt one.

It sounds to me like youā€™re not understanding what a ā€œcapital cityā€ entails. Orgrimmar and Stormwind are the ONLY capital cities in the game. They both have the aforementioned portal hubs. There may be other cities, such as Dalaran, Shattrath, etc. but they are not the capital cities.

Itā€™s not rational. Donā€™t try to figure it out. Blizzard devs have feelings. Those feelings are the reason for these changes.

Theyā€™re also notoriously stubborn. But they like posts about rating the transmog of the person above you.

I know fully well that Orgrimmar is the capital city for the Horde, and that is what I am posting aboutā€¦
I am well aware that they have removed all of the portal hubs everywhere else, and that was my gripe really. If they are going to do that then canā€™t they at least really put the new hubs in the capital cities, which are not there now as they claim??
Maybe the capital city hubs do not show up until you reach 120, or something, but that also is lame!!
