I have been playing wow for 12 years and have never made a wow forum post and have generally agreed with a lot of things the company has done, I am also very invested in the company thru public trade. But please, for the sake of its honor and reputation stop making changes to wrath. There is a reason it is largely considered the greatest expansion ever created in wow. When you start messing with that formula it becomes very salty to taste very easily. Firstly i believe you guys have this idea of RDF ruining community but your confusing this with Raid finder. Anything that takes away from desiring to be part of a guild and run raids weekly with a guild is what takes away from the community. Not something as simple as a 5 man dungeon that is always pugged with people i have never met and don’t care to become friends with, i just wanna do the dungeon and it not take an hour to form and complete. (back to principle of respect the players time). you guys have this idea that wrath needs to be redesigned like it was bad… its Cataclysm that was the largely debated expansion… not wrath of the lich king. So why make so many changes to a recipe that was so successful to begin with. It just does not make any sense whatsoever. A year ago i was counting down the days to wrath classic and could not wait for the announcement for several reasons, Now a month away from launch i dont even think i want to play it anymore. It has always been a dream to go play the expansion everyone hypes so much that i missed ever so slightly. However, you guys have now redesigned so much in the expansion i feel as though i would be better off trying a private server that actually gives me wrath of the lich king like we anticipated.

i never once said because i was invested they should do what i say, i was only expresing my interest in the company as a whole and its well being. WotLK was the pinnacle of WoW’s subscriber base, and went into a free fall afterwards. It maintained high numbers throughout T9.
That is the game we wanted. We didn’t want #somechanges and we don’t want #lotsofchanges.
We want WotLK: Classic, not “Reforged”.
Wrath was the golden age of MMO’s period. So many games came out in 2008 too, and Wrath crushed all of them. This is when WoW was at its best.
The new hires on the blizzard team think they can make the game better. Please just stop lol.
Keep to “social contracts” and change photos and spell names in retail. Leave the legendary accomplishments of the past to stand on their own.

Yeah people are just ridiculous. My eyes roll right out of my head whenever I see a video on YouTube where “WoW is dying because of THIS specific problem”, and then they refer to the subscriber count graph to validate their points. It’s the dumbest junk ever.
When WoW was approaching its peak subscriber count parents weren’t stepping in to take it away, video game addiction was barely in the news, and the available alternative MMORPGs out there were mostly grind-core junk filled with foreign language spammers.
Times change… people move on, start families, get tired of recurring subscriptions, get tired of buying gold, or playing BGs with 20 bots running in circles, etc. There’s a million factors that result in the subscription count going down.
The biggest reason is they don’t enjoy playing the game anymore…
They are idiots. They never listened about starting classic servers until they lost a ton of people. They wont listen to the people now. This was the best Xpac and they they are wasting their time messing with it. Once again they will lose customer base. Money talks and they will hopefully one day get their heads out of the sand.

If you supposedly want a truthful creation of WOTLK you would be asking for them to add it with ICC. Nobody was using RDF for wrath launch. You are completely disingenous.
If this is Blizzard’s plan, I’m fine with it, though I really want RDF. But if it’s not their plan, then all the players’ arguments against them refusing to include it still hold, and are not disingenuous.
