Please stop Battleground Premades

Edit: I’m retracting/editing some statements I said earlier.

Please only allow premades vs premades.

The frequency of premades has increased over the months thus killing the spirit of what these battlegrounds once were. - This statement is only my observation. Need more data to support it.

People automatically give up when they look at the roster and realize the other team is a premade and they ghost/afk.

I automatically leave any time there’s a premade. limit the number of people to join a battle to a group. boom, problem solved.

No changes.

Great input to the discussion. Too late. There have already been many changes. I’m assuming troll post so, Go troll elsewhere.

I expected this argument. Every pro-change person uses it. It’s weak.

No changes is an expression of desire, not a description of the game. Existing changes do not justify further changes. The game is supposed to be a faithful recreation of the original World of Warcraft.

Disagreeing with your unoriginal suggestion is not trolling. Grow up.

Fragmenting the population won’t help. If you don’t enjoy playing against a premade when you’re pugging then /afk or join your own premade. If you can’t or don’t want to premade, well that’s your issue. Not the games.

You are 100% correct, and I apologize. The truth is. when somebody says nochanges it triggers me. I feel like somebody is saying your voice does not matter so S*FU. I feel that the “nochanges” saying is also arrogant and insensitive. “we the nochanges people know better and are better”. I know I should be more mature about that and just let it go, but it pisses me off. I actually do agree with the argument that the game should be as much as it was originally. But some things cannot be for many reasons. With that said.

I was never cool.

I never grew up. (refuse to even at 47)

#nochanges

but,

Please stop the ability for premades. That’s all I want to say.

There was a change in tbc that made premades favor premades in BG matchmaking. Is it really that hard to implement this change for the health of random pvp?

Bit contradictory there, no?

This isn’t TBC.

I remember when this happened. I was even in on a few premades that my PVE guild wanted to put together to see what it was like. We got stomped.

Still its comparing apples to oranges. In BC when I pugged I rarely faced a premade, and PVP was much more competitive. However BC also brought in resilience. Which made PVE gear mostly useless in battlegrounds.

Sure they do. If Blizzard removed the dead zone from hunters you bet it would be totally valid for Boomkins to be asking for better mana regen. Making changes to Classic in the name of fairness and a better experience for everyone is exactly what no changers argued against. Picking and choosing NEVER works out well.

Blizzard’s made dozens of changes to BG’s. All in the name of current player behavior and fairness.

Saying “no changes” at this point is just dumb. You don’t say, “Oh. Here ya’ go - let’s make this better for you,” and then hold up your middle finger to everyone else.

It sure ain’t Vanilla either.

Absolutely not. The only valid response to a change like that in Classic is “undo it, that’s not how it worked in vanilla.”

No changes means NO changes, not SOME changes. Stop confusing “no changes” with random morons who wanted their own personalized version of WoW.

All of which are terrible.

Which is the complaint, if you didn’t notice.

Yes, no, maybe. But not everything is black and white or written in stone. Life is full of contradictions. I don’t’ make much money but I pay much more than $750 in taxes.

Also the only constant is change. It’s how the universe works. Even things that are cloned change and are different from one another just millisecond after the clone.

This isn’t the universe; it’s meant to be a faithful recreation of the original World of Warcraft. A museum piece, if you will.

We don’t constantly make changes to the Mona Lisa, for example. If you don’t like vanilla/Classic, just don’t play it. Stop begging for the game to be changed just because Brack was right about you.

No. I will not stop. I will not be silent. It’s not a museum peace either. It’s not possible for it to be.

Oh, it is possible; Blizzard just unfortunately refuses to maintain their and the game’s integrity.

The upside for you is that you might see the changes you want if you keep crying for them long enough, since the countless folks who actually liked vanilla are watching Classic get ruined by changes and quitting because of it, and the only people left are those who never wanted Classic in the first place.

You don’t change the mona lisa but you do display it in a nice frame in a well lit modern musuem with the option of an audio guide to go along with it.

Changing the queuing system would not be a change to the core gameplay.

That’s actually a really good analogy. A good perspective. I like it.

I don’t blame Alliance for premading, trying to PvP as Alliance is hell in pugs. Most people queue with the defeatist mentality that they’ve already lost because of “Shamans, horde racials, and blizzard favoritism.” You always end up with teams that throw perfectly winnable games in AB and WSG when it’s pug vs pug and their excuse for throwing is the same every time.

As someone who plays both factions and PvPs on both factions it’s definitely a world of difference on Horde side when it’s pug vs pug. Sometimes you get people who just want to zug but at least most pugs will try if it’s a pug vs pug game.
