Please save the AQ40 event

There should be a server wide total of the mats available for war supplies.

A multiple of that could work too.

The one change I would love would have them swap the mats around so people cant stockpile.

This is a situation where staying true to classic isnt giving you the true classic experience. Its a tricky situation.

The concern is the lag…
An ony buff before common raid time leaves the game unplayable.
throw in a heap of world pvp and many more npcs… gonna be a good time

Already all of the raiding guilds on the servers have plans to have the mats collected for AQ before that phase is even released. Their plan is to turn in the mats as soon as AQ phase happens, so they can start raiding.

This ruins the event completely. No city invasions. No roving hordes of silithid and aqir. It sucks the fun out of it. What’s even the point of Classic if the “elite” raider guilds aren’t going to let their server experience the event?

I am normally against time gates. But please time gate Ahn’Qiraji.

There will be a lot of tryhard scrubs from retail who will spoil this.

I’m not going through this entire thread but has blizzard mentioned anything about how long after the event drops that the gates will “auto” open?
