You know what, I hope they nerf Aug harder if thatâs how youâre going to be.
Just stick to healing because Aug was a mistake that only properly functioned for the top 0.1% of players and was the âfake it til you make itâ spec for everyone else.

Itâs not really ânonsense,â as youâve so easily stated. I simply present the more logical argument. People like you can only resort to calling it âhateâ because your argument is flawed. The same tired, nonsensical solutions are always proposed that âcouldâ fix the support spec problem. Meanwhile, my solution offers the highest return on investmentâjust remove support specs. Done. Thereâs no âcouldâ about it.
Additionally, if players like you can argue in other peoples posts for not turning Aug into a tank spec or removing it from the game, then why canât I argue on other peoples post wanting to save Aug?

Aug has never been a free carry. It did less damage then every DPS and if not played right or well would result in a failed key. its ok you never played aug or did high end content to understand why it was strong or brought but thats ok youre just a troll and a sad sad sad person who wants attention. good day hope one day someone besides your mother even notices you

I just canât imagine a support class being workable. Not because it canât but because Blizz isnât very good at balance.
If Aug is going to be support, then anything they do must make up for the dps loss they incur because everything in game is a dps race, with some bosses being literal dps checks.
Do you think Blizz will ever have the ability to balance that so Augs donât become more valuable or less valuable than DPS? No.
That doesnât suggest incompetence on Blizzâs part. Balance of that sort is near impossible to achieve. So Aug will either shine brightly or be a black hole to a group.
Either Blizz needs to go all in and make a 6th slot specifically for support (and an extra slot or two for raids), or give up and turn Aug into a proper tank.
Frankly, option 1 would involve a massive undertaking because Aug canât be the only support class in the game.
Option 2 is really the only choice I can see that is workable.

Frankly aug can only work if we had more dps support classes, theres just no other way. There could be more balance decisions if there was another support class competing with it.
Aug imo was a fun experiment but yeesh, it will need a redesign if we cant get another support class.
It only really effected top in players who were skilled enough to actually use augs toolkit. Like aug is easy to play but very hard to perfect and play at a high level.
More support specs would be cool. But also again the issue isnt even augs damage is purly augs abiltiy to increase survivability. Like people saying make it a tank dont realize it isnt deaign anywhere near to be a tank its designed as a dps that gets its damage from its buff. And has a toolkit to aid its party.
Its why in raid and MDI. Aug wasnt used but TGP is was
They should revamp Aug into a tanks spec and give more goodies to devastation

What a selfish take. You do realize that ONE support spec isnât going to cut it in WoW. You simply cannot have just ONE spec for support. Blizzard has shown ZERO effort into adding more support classes/spec. You simply cannot have ONE spot dedicated to a role with only ONE class eligible for said role. Do you think Blizzard is going to add another? When? Midnight? At the end of the world soul Saga? Do you see it on the road map to add more? Even if they say they are going to add more at the end of the WS Saga⌠Thatâs 3-4 YEARS from now. NOW look at it from a money perspective. It is WAY cheaper to nerf Aug into oblivion and then retool it a proper class then add more classes and add money to development costs. Do you think Blizzard is going to do that? NO. Aug was a pipe dream for a tryhard developer trying to make his mark on WoW⌠Well it didnât work. The experiment failed. Get over it.

As much as I would hate to do that to people who enjoyed Aug, if this class gets a tank spec I am never switching off of it again.
