Empowered Rune Weapon has no reason to be nerfed in PvP. Percent Damage CDs are nerfed because base damage is increased. There’s no reason to nerf % haste CDs so hard when we didn’t get a base haste increase. This was probably nerfed because of Unholy and it doesn’t have it anymore.
Pillar of Frost is still 12% non ramping. This is 50% of the old base value with the ramping removed.
Breathe and Cold Heart are still nerf a lot.
Frost Wyrms Fury still hits super soft for a 1.5-3min CD.
We never got a damage pvp talent to replace Chill Streak which is abit un intereisting.
Turn Rot and Wither into an actual heal cut. Maybe healing is reduced but x% while in D&D then for 4 secs after leaving.
Make a PvP talent that gives us another charge of Empowered Rune Weapon (unnerfed) so we can build crit in PvP and part of our kit not be ignored.

i’ve tried to make rot and whither work, and even under the most ideal conditions for the spell, it is entirely useless. at a minimum they would need it to put a heal absorb of 10 times the damage of DND to even be noticeable.
just making it a passive 25% MS for anyone standing in it would make it a very compelling pvp talent in just about all areas of pvp, and for all 3 specs too.

100%. Especially with rider lowering its CD. It would be really massive imo. It would be fun to run some new comps too.
Though I imagine necrotic wounds would not be able to be used with it as the same time. Having your own MS and healing absorb seems a little too much for 1 class to provide passively.
the total healing reduction between wounds and 25% MS is still less than a warrior’s sharpen and has a positional requirement the warrior does not have, doesn’t seem that OP.
One is a 30 sec cd though that lasts 4 seconds. I’d be all for it, but can see blizz nerfing necrotic even more.
Remove Death Strike modifiers.
Increase Bloodforged armor duration by 2 seconds.
Make AMS an actual wall instead of absorb

Some Frost dks are going crit haste in PvP and finding great success with it, also both dk specs in PvP are very powerful rn
DW or 2h? Have stat breakdowns on how much of each? I haven’t gathered my pvp gear yet for frost.
I was running crit/haste in prepatch and it was really good. I haven’t finished farming honour gear but so far it seems like we are really lacking stats budget. Hoping it’s better with conq gear. Ideally would love to get 20/20% crit/haste.
I think both dw and 2h are viable but not quite sure what’s better yet king, but I imagine the crit haste dks are dw
crit effects are nerfed 50% in pvp, its literally the only stat you want to avoid as a PVP DK.
pvp gearing is all about versa+stat, and that stat you pick is either haste or mastery. which you pick depends on what playstyle you want, haste is more fluid and forgiving of mistakes, mastery is better overall but has less room for mistakes.
Unfortunately Conquest gear is normally even more Vers stacked. I hope some crafted gear can save us because DW really needs a mix of Crit, Haste, and Mast to feel good but Vers just robbs it all on this PvP gear.
