people always get it mixed up. they did 2 things. the first was to make any grey mobs give reduced xp to your party when killed. so if you’re say, level 30, grouped with players who are 20, and you kill something that is level 20, everyone in your party will get 1 xp instead of normal XP.
this change ALONE killed boosting, not because it wasn’t possible anymore, but because the XP from killing 350+ mobs (which is a ton of mobs) is worse than killing a single or couple of mobs by yourself, which would take about 10 seconds.
the teleporting, permastunning, snare and root immunity, perma 300% movement speed was added as a way to counter gold farming bots (mass pulling DK and mages) but it was very clear from the start that it had no effect on them whatsoever. they dont abide by normal game rules. they fly in the sky, walk through walls and doors, ignore LOS, etc.
the first change SHOULD STAY IN, which will still prevent any boosting, and this teleporting BS is what needs to be removed. even if you’re just trying to farm some old mats, if you hit a corner of a wall wrong, everything teleports up and starts evading or behaving extremely erratically.
being a level 80 in full bis trying to farm a level 50 dungeon shouldn’t be difficult. it should be fun and available to all, without having to google why you cant stay in combat for over 60 seconds without being permanently disabled until you die
