What trinks are gonna help hit Crit immune the most in full t4? Think ima go for the Time Lapse Shard. I have Runed fungalcap already .Got t4 thic boi gloves last night. Was super pumped. I’m not looking forward to grinding out the pvp for the bracers and belt. Sucks that T4 doesn’t have and def on it.
Other than the exalted CoT trinket, nothing really. Crit immunity is handled best by Clefthoof gear early on with appropriate rings/neck/cloak and an Earthwarden. Later you’ll want to transition to the bracers/belt and maybe boots from BGs.
Yeah it does suck and it never stops really. It is why I’m heavily rethinking going LW in T5 or not to get the crafted boots/belt because tossing on Merciless gear may be the more efficient option.
Later still in Sunwell we really need to keep at the PvP because the Sunwell rings/cloaks/neck stop having Defense on them in favor of Hit/Expertise. This is offset somewhat by the Stamina/Resilience head enchant that comes out during that time, but it makes us lose just enough that we can’t just slap on full Sunwell gear and call it a day.
Will those be enough to reach 415? I have def in all those u stated and still have to use clefthoof to reach. Seems like those 2 res trinkets will supplement for 2 pieces of hoof. Might have to get the def shoulder chant. I dunno will wait and see.
With Clefthoof? Yes.
Necklace of the Juggernaut, Gilded Thorium Cloak, Heavy Clefthoof x3, Earthwarden, and the BLUE quality Violet Signet get you to you 417 Defense. No enchants or gems of any kind.
With just the Necklace of the Juggernaut, Gilded Thorium Cloak, Earthwarden, exalted Violet Signet, and Shermanar Great-Ring, you have 398 Defense, leaving you at 0.66% chance to be critically hit.
Add in Marshal’s Leather Bracers and you drop to 0.33% to be critically hit.
If you add in Marshal’s Leather Bet instead, you drop to 0% and you’re golden.
Note that we really do not need to be obsessed with all the +Bonus Armor pieces that exist. They help to be sure, but once you get a steady supply of Ironshield Potions going and you consistently have a Priest/Shaman healing you, we hit the soft-cap on Armor really quick. That’s why I’m probably not going to get the +Armor ring from the Magtheridon quest reward over the Shermanar from Kara. Shermanar has notably less Armor, but it has more Stamina and more Defense, and with Armor capping out in T4 gear, I prefer the beefiness of Stamina since it never stops growing.
EDIT: And to be sure, you can swap either a head or shoulder enchant to a +Def one and just use the Bracers from BGs.
Still waiting, Blizz.
Well at least they finally removed the edit claiming 19 energy ticks were fixed, so they’re aware that’s still a problem. Funnily enough 19 energy ticks seem to only follow a reset in energy ticks and are probably caused by latency or some other delay making the game think we should only get 1.9 seconds of energy. So this 19 energy thing is an ACTUAL BUG that wouldn’t be a problem if they stopped energy ticks from being reset by everything lol.
While we wait for a better solution, is there a list of all the consumables/enchants/buffs that we might be able to utilize similar to Troll’s Blood potions? I’m not a huge fan or carrying a thousand of theses.
There is nothing comparable except shifting then swapping to a weapon with Mp5 and swapping back. End of Dreams or Atiesh being the most favored as they have some useful stats.
Hey blizz, what better way to handle some of the negative press you generated last week than showing some (or any) attention to the druids?
Bump!!!
Bro don’t even. I’ve ran Old HB too many times and haven’t seen the potion recipe. =( I’m gonna try my hardest to avoid having to do the pvp stuff “just not my thing” Prob will just use those res trinkets we talked about earlier. That’s 54 res. Should get me there with a lil wiggle room.
You’ll need head/shoulder enchants then along with stuff like Resolute Cape, which is just Thorium Gilded Cloak but with Resilience instead of Defense.
That sucks… you can always use the 2k Stoneshield variety.
EDIT:
https://seventyupgrades.com/set/9aNHRUXXXKceoQNAcfWPVr
If you used just the 2k Armor from Vanilla Stoneshield Potions, with Inspiration you’d be just above hard cap for Armor. This is a max EH setup that I’m 95% is the most you can squeeze out of Phase 1 without subjecting yourself to critical hits. You can obviously swap the +10 Stamina kits for other stats if you don’t want 16.7k unbuffed Health, but that’s how ridiculous we can get right now.
Unfortunately you’ll still need Honor Points for the necklace and bracers.
I would like to bump this. I as a player played a lot through VA,BC,WotLK. I always enjoyed playing things with Rythemic rotations. I was happily our Mal Lock in BC and got to the point where equally geared I could keep up with straight Destro. I also played a lot of Feral. While I much preferred the Wrath rotation to the PS one this “changed” version is choppy at best.
#FixTheTick
Still no comment from Blizzard. Embarrassing.
Bump.
Just so you not confused, blizzard never said they not supporting powershifting. Fasc is just lying to you. Feel free to ask him to provide proof, and watch him weasel around without actually providing any.
They aren’t supporting or nerfing it, you can still powershift as much as you like, you’re just getting less out of it and blizzard doesn’t care. That blizzard has marked this as not a bug 15 years ago and again today and when they actually did a deep look at kitty dps completely moved away from power shifting should give you a pretty good idea how they feel about it.
My poor Kitty, Blizz trying to kill it.
I feel like anyone who is arguing against this is people who tried it out and couldnt do it, but didnt ask for help, we have the most dedicated community thats why we dont mind doing less damage if that means a fun gameplay
Bumping this thread back up.
Ditto, bump. Fix it!
Almost 2k posts blizz guys, don’t you read the forums? (Don’t you have phones???)
