600!!! #FixTheTick
My parses are fine lol relax.
All due respect, with your gear and 18 successful (many fully buffed) patch kills, 852 dps is in the “still breathing and not afk” range. These would be 30-50 parses if they were translated relatively to any competitive class (war/mage/rogue)
Obviously people who are not actively trying to take their class to their maximum potential will not/should not care about the energy nerf; I don’t blame you, but please do not speak for players who are affected by the change.
From the 2.2.0 Patchnotes at …wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Patch_2.2.0
Power Regeneration: Any effect which triggers a change in your rate of power regeneration (Mana, Rage, Energy, Focus) will now cause an immediate reward of some power at the old rate of increase, and then begin new “ticks” of power at the new rate approximately 2 seconds later. This was done to improve functionality of abilities such as Evocation and Innervate so that they did not have wasted “ticks”.
Bolded the relevant section.
Now is it possible blizzard lied in their 2.2.0 patch? Sure…but that WOULD be speculation on our part.
Also Mangle was OP as all get out in the early patch.
Can I have my OP mangle back if you don’t like fixing ticks…it would even be blizzlike!
99 passes are quite attainable.
So…yes?
If you don’t want to powershift, no problem but it is an intergral part of the feral min max game.
Played in pretty average guild. 2 full raid nights to clear naxx. Slow kills. never really having all world buffs, always run oom cus no JOW, and don’t really care to MCP for a while. Not really miffed about not being top 10-20 world but I’m consistently still top 10-20 ish my server so that’s all that mattered to me *shrug. It’s ad hominem either way as it doesn’t address my argument.
But hey, don’t worry. They’re discussing recipes and vendors! Nevermind the entire spec over here in a thread for going on a week.
They did it because it probably competes with Rogues.
But it works the way it did in TBC, thanks for agreeing with us!
were struggling here with no communication
Never in TBC did ferals have 2.2 energy while not also having months to acquire the Tier6 energy cost reduction bonus that made it SOMEWHAT bearable. If they wanted to wait until phase 4 to implement 2.2 energy to be true to the TBC timeline then fine, but they’re forcing us to play cat in a state that isn’t accurate to any version of TBC.
Bumperino, Blizzard please respond. Your silence on this is deafening.
Edited the post to include this massive discovery by Zipzo:
Huge Update 5/25: Big thanks to Zipzo and their thread [Current Feral Energy Mechanics Not Accurate to TBC (Links)] which shows evidence that partials DID exist in original TBC and that Blizzard erroneously removed them from the TBC Classic client at the last minute, likely due to many players thinking it was a bug. The evidence also implies that 2.0 powershifting was still possible in 2.4.3 thanks to spell batching, making this a very similar issue to seal twisting.
Hoping to see a fix soon! See the new post regarding partial tick evidence!
wait what was I talking about again. I’m just a guy without a cellphone. Apologies, love you all.

Here’s the post with sources showing how current energy is not accurate to 2.4.3. The partials NEED to be restored.
Wait until they hear about powerchugging
Shhh, don’t tell them!
Dont tell them guys!
