I would love it if a happy compromise was struck as a lot of Ferals love the Powershift playstyle. Ferals aren’t really in danger of destroying meters or upending metas from a DPS perspective so a buff wouldn’t really alter the world. However, I am skeptical and highly doubtful such a happy compromise would come down the pipe. If I had to put money on it, I’d wager the Mp5/Hp5 workaround gets hotfixed and nothing else is done or said.

A Blizzard response would certainly help clear the air. Right now people are trying to play a variety of rhetorical games to “force” a Blizzard response in their favor and I just don’t see that happening, but some kind of communication would be greatly appreciated.

Agreed, I’d gladly trade less max dps for a much smoother rotation that doesn’t feel like a buggy mess. This also helps us ditch Wolfshead in PVP and solo content. Thank god.

Ah this makes a lot more sense, so both shifting (which caused a change in Mp5) and powerchugging (which caused a change in Mp5 and Hp5) got changed since they found a related cause. Nice.

As we’ve worked on this, one of the people we spoke with was the original systems designer who requested the change to energy regeneration.

But you’re welcome all the same, they got rid of the bug I wanted to get rid of so I’m happy.

Blizzard, as a druid I hope you do not change it. Great hotfix. Power shifting was never meant to be a thing. Without this hotfix if you don’t power shift then you suck…it made everyone become a power shifter. Druids are never supposed to be on par with other dps…that’s why they have 3 form

Feels good. I’m going to go back through this entire thread.

Anways, Stunlocks, get in the blue post and let them know that powershifting was never supposed to be a thing, and that we’re going to be absolute DPS gods thereby breaking the game

We got what we were asking for: 20 energy ticks, powershifting back, and lastly an admittance that it was not intentional and it was actually a bug. They fixed seal twisting to let it be doable, so now they’ve fixed powershfiting.
