Is it fundamental to not participate for gear?

amen /char10

The fundamental I was referring to is player power increasing and being able to return to old content and being powerful enough to decimate it. They are nerfing the reward of soloing old dungeons this decreasing that element of power increase experience, a fundamental to classic wow. Moreover, we are not even sure if this was their intention. All we know is they are trying to target boosters but boostees can just cast scrolls as a work around. Effectively all they did is nerf drop rates for solo dungeon farmers. The boosters will get all the loot because boostees simply cast a buff or a scroll.

The only people paying for this change is solo players and random healers or dps drinking for a mob kill.

Imagine this: I’ve raided Kara every lockout and not found my bis grips of deftness - a trash drop. I am a heavily mana reliant class, always drinking so I can maximize my dps. Now if for some reason I miss a tag or some bs (not even sure) Im not on the loot table.

as a mage in ZF i missed loot at a boss because the tank pulled for 10 seconds while I drank. Was that the intention from Blizz?? what an odd turn of events from a business standpoint.

Knowing this, your group should slow down and have everyone involved in the content. It’s not a hard concept. Imagine you weren’t in the instance at all because you had to hearth for reagents. Would you then demand loot dropped from the others who are doing the content?

This is not how a good game is designed. This change was drop crap, and whoever thinks this is good is the equal of that change

What would be your suggestion? Perma ban people who boost for gold?

that is a strawman argument and you know it.

people actually in the run but who are drinking are still a participant in the run and just because groups are too in a rush to pull doesnt mean they should be penalized.

this is a bs change and you know it but you cant stop trolling and bootlicking to see anything .

I learned this week that nobody at blizzard attached to this retardation knows the definition of “meaningful” so I suggest you use a different word

Crap like this is what is pushing me closer to just RMT . There really is not much of a point to slog for hrs anymore to try and cover raiding costs. Im better off spending my time in arena or running heroics. If this is how its going to be. You can’t hardly farm herbs there are so many bots. Yet they screw over the honest people again no point anymore clearly blizzard does nothing about it so why not just join them? Its far far less of a headace right? Lol

Probs try retail if this game for teens is too difficult for you

It has been reversed

Im boosting right now.

I mean it made sense to me and many others. I often wonder at individuals capability to extrapolate information from what is given sometimes. Even recent studies are saying the same thing. /shrug

Its reverted.

Yeah good

Just perma ban boosters

Back to BM farming on my pally

Poor people things :joy: :joy:

You don’t get loot for fights you weren’t part of. There’s no such thing as “participant in the run” except for simply sharing the raid ID.

Yes you always did.

You do once again.
