Please Restore the MoP/WoD Legendary Questlines

Dude. No…

Hard disagree. The ones that were removed we were made aware of beforehand. They’re a reward for having played those expansions, or something.

I honestly enjoyed the questline in MoP, WoD however… was utter garbage. And that would be the kind they would re-implement, so I too am gonna have to take a pass on the idea.

I did do both-- I don’t care if they bring it back for others to complete. However, Blizzard is very unlikely to bring it back. They viewed it as a “Limited Time Achievement” and there are tons of achievements in the game that are no longer obtainable.

If they reopened these, they would have to reopen them all. :rainbow:

There is zero reason for the removable of these quest lines in the first place. Even if they offer no rewards at all, the content should not have been removed, for any reason.

I’m all for it. I’ve got my cloak, don’t have the ring (nor do I particularly care about it) but I think the quest lines should still be in the game.

Perhaps reintroduce them, but players who complete them now can’t get the legendary version if Blizzard really cares that much.

Agree 100%. They have left Pathfinder in. If they can leave the chores in, they can at least return the cool content as well.

No, sorry. You weren’t here to complete them, waited to the last minute or joined late then that is your problem. Not everything they removed needs to come back for those who missed our or were too lazy to do it. I can’t go back to GW2 or other mmos where they removed certain events for good.

The only thing I feel should be lifted is needing the cloak to kill Ordos since it really isn’t that big of a deal (and yes I have my cloak).

I think getting rid of long questlines that have unique character-specific rewards is supremely short-sighted.

Not only does a quest like this give all players a reason to log on for over a month, the questline could be completely revitalized by adding an upgrade questline in Kul Tiras to boost it to 370.

Everyone’s favorite Void Elf or Zandalari troll alt would be able to grind out the quest line and look spiffy while wearing their heritage armor.

Waaah waaah waaah I don’t want anyone else to have what I have, even if I don’t use it anymore.

Waaah waaah waaah. I want something others got when they played current WoW but I was too lazy to do so I want to get to do it now. I am entitled to everything.

Or maybe people just weren’t playing then, rather than, that they were “too lazy”.

Right, not playing during what was then considered to be the worst xpac in WoW history was being “too lazy”.

I wouldn’t be opposed to the quests being restored, but leave the actual legendary rewards out of it unless it’s an alt on the same license (not bnet account) of a character that previously earned said legendary. It’s not much, but it’s something to say “hey I played MoP/WoD” even if you’re no longer maining the same character(s) that earned the item(s) when you transmog the cloak or use it during Timewalking.

I’m all for making certain rewards time-limited, but the story content shouldn’t have been removed when it’s relevant to later expansions (eg the MoP cloak quests tying into Legion).

Or maybe they don’t need to have things like that and just let it be. Do you go onto all the other mmo forums and cry you missed out on certain events they removed and demand they be put back in for your entitlement. God forbid people just move on and accept the fact they missed out and moved on.

MOP was the worst XPAC in history? Hmmm weird. I have yet to see anyone say that.

I’ve got both the cloak and the ring and I’m still very frustrated that there are large story chunks that I can’t relive on alts for no other reason than “because.”

More like waaah waaah waaah I can’t have my candy

The quest line in MoP should at least be put back so people can have access to Ordos.

Or just allow people to be summoned up there.
