Why must we now open the main menu to reach the addon menu? Why was the Addons button removed? This is silly and tedious. Please bring it back.

It was a deliberate choice too. An aesthetic one. Not driven by management imposed time constraints. It’s almost certainly something trivially easy to add but they thought it didn’t fit their vision so functionality is sacrificed for that. Who cares if it annoys players, wastes time, etc. Look at how neat the character select screen which most people don’t stare at and use purely as a jumping off point to get to the parts of the game they actually want looks now!

They needed that space to have a box nagging you to pre-order the new xpac every time you log in, like a true modern “AAA” game should.

it’s still under “menu” like it’s always been, the shortcut is gone is all.

Oh no, having to hit Esc is SOOO Tedious . It’s unbearably excruciating
I dunno why people cant just be a wee bit sympathetic to those of us on the spectrum. we hate change, and its difficult for us to handle and accept.
Sure, its an extra button press. But its change. I spent the past 10 years looking at that button and now its gone…

OP has not said that they are on the spectrum so there is no reason to assume they are.

it was a bit jarring to find it gone, but it’s just bloat to have the same function in more than one place
Click on one of the characters not in the favorites section of the warband, and it shows the origjnal screen with the addons button.
