Yup, happened to me yesterday. It was infuriating. I don’t know if it’s against the rules but I hope that it is so that they get banned.

Technically every possible way there is to “grief” in any game constitutes the player using methods that are technically “playing the game”. Doesn’t mean they aren’t griefing.

First of all calling out a guilds name or player names is bannable so I recommend you edit it out.
Secondly they can do this, its part of the game if you don’t like them forcing a turtle leave AV and find another one.
This is by no means greifing and it is not punishable.

Causing AV to “take longer” by accomplishing tasks set by Blizzard.. is not griefing.

Kinda torn on this one…
On the one hand, yea this sucks if you’re not a part of their group. You basically have a negative experience from what you signed up for and there’s not a lot you can do about it.
On the other hand, it’s an MMO RPG. There’s no rule saying how the game must be played, and they are accomplishing objectives in the game. I mean, some folks sit there and fish all game, these guys want to summon the tree and have some actual PvP in AV. Everybody is so laser focused on honour/rep grind that they kinda forget that you can have fun playing the game in a lot of other ways.
I’m not going to make a statement one way or the other on which point of view is the “right” one, but I can bet you that you probably won’t see any kind of Blizzard intervention on this. Given the mass amounts of people playing in AV right now, you probably won’t see this group very often and it’s easy enough to AFK out and wait your 15 minutes than sit in a 2hr game that’s not going how you want.

That may be causing you and others grief, but it’s not griefing, under the ToS.
The last part about them just leaving after Ivus dies, is the best part, and funny as ish.

how is causing a turtle griefing? Horde do it all the time when they D-up at RH.
