Please remove two-handed weapons for shamans OR change Thunderstrike Ward

One of these two things has to happen. It’s terrible when you loot a two-handed weapon because, as of right now, Thunderstrike Ward is just too good not to use; it’s about 3-4% of our damage however it only goes on shields. Either remove two-handed weapons from shaman’s loot tables or change Thunderstrike Ward to be a buff on the character and not on a shield only.

Yeah, it’s wild how often staves drop for my shaman.

They need to do something about Ele Shamans having to have 4 buffs up. I dislike it. There has to be a more user-friendly way.

Shaman, historically, has never been user-friendly. Play at your own risk.

Just got a 590 2H and it seems all I have got lately are 2H. Still waiting on an upgrade for my 1H.

If you ask me, thunderstrike ward should have been a replacement for lightning shield, granting the effects of both, but not requiring a shield. It should still use that sweet shield animation if you’re wearing one though.

As it currently stands though, yeah ele loot tables should just be 1h and shield.

Enhancement is in the same position. Imbues should just be passive. It’s silly having to cast them because there is no choice to be made with them anymore.

Same but replace shamans with paladins and Thunderstrike Ward with Shield of the Righteous

It’s a simple change that needs to be done. Having that many pre fight buffs is just silly. Btw… Shamans are slamming right now. One of our enhance was destroying the raid.

Making talents based off of RNG weapon drops is the stupidest thing Blizzard keeps doing.

Like Warriors. Why the hell isn’t it just a passive like Crazed Berserker was in Warlords? Want SMF? Fine. Passively get the effects of the SMF buff when you equip 1h.

This shield talent for Shaman shouldn’t exist in that form whatsoever. The only option is to save Sparks and Enchanted Crests (or whatever they’re called now) and get weapons crafted.
