People like you who think changes like THIS are what is needed are part of the problem, you gloss over the real issue with stuff like this that means nothing and only divides people over dumb stuff instead of tackling actual issues that is deep within the actual company of Blizzard and really has nothing to do with what is IN the game other than them giving us bad content because they are to busy being gross and falling for their own hype.
But blizzard started it by changing stupid stuff and not focusing on very real issues

I am curious to see what else Blizzard is going to change besides a few select NPCs. Their announcement made it seem like it was going to be a big sweeping change to the game, so we’ll see what will happen.
If it is going to be a big sweeping change, then certain flirts could be changed, yeah. There are also certain pop culture references in the game that could be changed. These changes will take time, if they ever happen at all, since there are larger issues within the game (and, more importantly, outside the game) that need addressing first.
It’ll be interesting to see where it all leads!
Yeah now you know why they have politicians working for them right? Distract and divide the players by adding or removing stuff no one asked for to get us arguing about this stuff instead of holding their feet to the fire over bad service and bad behaviors being tolerated or promoted.

But running in melee and using a magic “fear” so powerful that players run in horror uncontrollably screaming only to regain consciousness while you MIND BLAST THEM and MIND FLAY THEM until they succumb to the insanity that is your priest literally melting their minds from the inside out and drop dead on the ground.
Or when a warrior chops your body up until you are close to death, and then quite literally put you out of your misery by EXECUTING you.
How about assassination rogues that are hiding in dark corners only to pop out and just rip you to shreds with multiple bleeds and poisons that cause you to lose motor function.

I mean I get that these jokes feel particularly cringe now in light of whats going on at blizzard, but the game has always been rated:
T (Teen) by the ESRB for blood and gore, crude humor, mild language, suggestive themes, and use of alcohol and violence.
You bought this game with this label on the cover. If you don’t like it don’t play it.

The main problem here is that these lines just aren’t funny.
Everyone has politics so far up their rectums these days. I don’t get it. Take a walk. Talk to a human in real life.
Imagine thinking Blizzard doing performative nonsense like removing in-game jokes is actually going to fix the awful working environment its employees are dealing with.
I would say if they are that into politics they need to pull the plug but that could be taken the wrong way in light of some of the lawsuit revelations.
