Going to repost this, because it’s relevant to this thread too.
Folks at this point the time for talking with people possessed with Humanbeak’s mentality and others like him, is over and done. Their agenda and calls for change are not about sexism. It’s completely about being an opportunist and milking a tragedy.
Everyone knows full well already that people like them will attack you as a racist, sexist, etc. if you speak to them with logic. That isn’t in their mental make-up any more than honesty or integrity. So really the best way to deal with them is not at all. Ignore them completely, and don’t reply to them under any circumstance.
As they would attack others for not agreeing with them, so should you cut them completely out of the discussions you have. Do not reply to them, don’t give platform to their hatred, or their lies, and don’t even dignify them with any sort of attention. There are far more of you than them. There always have been.
Never resort to harsh language and or a threat of violence against them. That plays into their hand. That’s their speed, not yours. You already know that if they decide they can’t get a rise out of you by saying stupid crap you know isn’t factual, they will drop to violence. Don’t be afraid to defend yourself, but never become the aggressors and bullies they try to be.
When they realize they can’t win either because they are getting crushed financially, and or that society has completely disavowed them; they will return to hiding under their rock or pretend to have had an epiphany and “change”.
Above all else however, never tolerate their kind or companies that accommodate them. If that means WoW must die as a result, then it is what it is. We all knew they would come for the game eventually, and they are ultimately the root of the toxic nature of this community. But whether they succeed at their endeavors is up to all of you.
Remember what they try to do, and oppose them completely. You all know this guy’s post has 0 to do with sexism or people harmed by predators in the work place. Anyone of fair mind and intellect wants to see justice done.
We all want justice for those women who were harassed. But it would be far worse if people like him were allowed to capitalize on the wrongdoing out of a slavering need for power. That merely compounds the tragedies.
Posts like this have everything with trying to force you to accept his view of the world at the detriment and loss of your own. Such people are not pure in any way, more erudite or wise, and none of them are any better than the rest of you. Do not give them the right to preach down to you. You know who and what you are in your heart. Let that guide you, not some whiny twit.
That’s how you deal with it, and how you win.

Been playing a highmountain since they released and literally, and I mean LITERALLY, you are the first person I have ever seen to say they have a problem with this. My conclusion? I don’t think very many people have a problem with this.

When you see one of the people you want to ignore, click on reply on a comment they’ve made, copy their name & server. For example, mine would be Sernius-Garrosh & yours would be Rhay-queldorei. Then click on your profile pic in the top right, click on the person icon(if you mouse over it, it says “preferences”), then click on Preferences, which is below draft. Next, you’ll click on users & you’ll see add & type in the users name & server & select the time frame.

Humanbeak is a forum troll. He’s, as they would say across the pond, “Taking the piss”. He doesn’t believe what he’s saying, and there are very few actual human beings who actually feel that way. He’s cosplaying as a “woke” person to get people riled up in response.
