Please. You said you would remove it in prepatch, I worked overtime to get it. Now people are getting it so easily. Achievement is losing value.

They don’t matter until the 20th Anniversary comes around and Blizzard announces they are sending Life sized statues of Sylvanus to all players that have over 22000 Achievement points on their account.

Doesn’t really matter if y’all think its petty, if Blizzard said it was going away with prepatch, it should be gone. Prepatch invalidates the difficulty of achievements every time. It’s not the same accomplishment before and after. It should be gone. It should have already BEEN gone when prepatch landed.
Maybe don’t roll back rewards from people who got it, but it shouldn’t be ongoing. It should be stopped. This is not removing “content” - the content itself is still there, this is about sticking to a preplanned cutoff point for a “difficult” achievement because tuning and balance go out the window with prepatches.
Why even bother pushing for such achievements while they’re current if you can just wait until the prepatch, get the catchup gear when it inevitably comes, and faceroll through it?

nah, don’t remove it, i’ve been desperate for something to do until launch and finishing out the keys I was missing is pretty much the only thing i’d have left to do.
Gatekeeper mentality in this game is so ridiculous. “I got it but I don’t want others to get it.” The downward trajectory will continue in Shadowlands I’m certain of this now.

I did 10 keys in the last week to get that mount, and I don’t care if other people get it. Exclusivity is a joke.
