I was just in a game that lasted well over an hour. The game is still going on at this writing. I think if a player spends more than 20min in Korracks Revenge they should not be given the deserter debuff for leaving. That is about the same amount of time for any normal random bg length. It’s preposterous to expect anyone to stick around a game going nowhere for well over an hour and be punished for leaving.
Side note, please fix Ivus the Forrest Lord. We summoned him yet he did not draw aggro from NPC’s as he is apparently intended to.

And have peeps see that Korrak is dead and leave? You knew what you signed up for so either finish or pay the consequences.

The game lasted over an hour. That is well beyond the length of normal battleground games. So this “finish or pay the consequences” is absolutely nonsensical.

Are these devs are still cheating for the horde?!
I remember being in AV for hours and hours and HOURS… was so much fun. I’m old-ish now and wouldn’t want to go that long tho.
I do think it would be nice if you stayed for a certain amount of time you didn’t get a deserter. Sometimes you gotta go to the bathroom! xD

You’re playing Korrak’s revenge which is old school AV known to be able to last hours. Don’t queue for a bg that can go that long if you don’t want to play it.

Lol no one comes in for that with half a brain. You kill him in northrend. then sign up for a last av turn to in quest and dump.
that deserter you jsut accept lol. YOu could run the av…but why? lol.
edit: unless they changed/broke that ofc. Haven’t see this yet.
I don’t really understand the problem here.
If you leave the BG because you had to go do something else and only had 20-30 minutes to play why does the deserter buff matter at all?
If you left because you were bored then the debuff is justified.

Deserter should be 1 hour IMO, don’t ditch the battlefield.
Deserter is too short rn especially for Alliance with fast que’s, creates an incentive to leave and just reque after 15.

Nah. Korrak’s is fine how it is.
Also, just get in and get out. It’s not an XP fountain of youth (and fun) like it was 2 years ago.

don’t worry. As soon as enough people figure out that it’s not good xp for leveling like it was before, those queue times will be just as long as you were in that bg

does korrack give a nice starter weapon still?
New 60 rogue needs gear love. even a 187 would be a nice upgrade for her. So am I thinking sign up, get the quest, drop, northrend it (burns deserter mostly even)…turn in and debate whether to skip ardenweald scenario or run it and get its 187 too.
Option b is korthia boa mail weapons chits. BUt I know rng well. IT will see this plan. and give me…swords. So I’d burn others chars stygia on that. stygia is for mounts with me usually lol.
Av used to last many, many hours. 20 minutes is nothing.
