with the new mythic plus dungeon pool, it is shaping up to be a stoneform meta again.
can you please remove the cooldown on gleeful glamour so i can atleast make my character look how i want them to look?
i am really tired of having my characters all be dwarfs.
I understand that the dwarf racial is too strong (Blizzard, just change it already so we can stop hearing about it), but in no world do you need stoneform to be successful in keys up through current +11s – and you gain NOTHING tangible from pushing beyond 11s. All of the tangible power progression and even vanity stuff caps at 10.
What I’m saying is that the point at which being a Dwarf matters is well into the “literally only doing this for bragging rights” category of keys.
And it’s fine to shoot for that if that’s your thing, but I find it hard to care if things get a little silly in an infinitely scaling system when we’re specifically talking about essentially post-game content.
It’s not really any different than the meta classes getting narrowed down out of necessity.
So yeah, fix it, but also, anyone who thinks they HAVE to be a dwarf is insane.
Maybe the solution should just be “Racials are disabled in Mythic +12 and higher” or something. Because if they gut Dwarf, everyone will go Nelf, if they gut both, everyone will go Dwarf 2 (Dark Iron) or something. There’s always a “best”.
keystone legend or whatever is only attainable at 3k rating and is what gets you the ksm mount recolor
I don’t know if the general sentiment on the forums for this is the same as it is when it comes to visage for evokers, but if it is… everyone says to just reroll if you don’t like your race.
What’s the likelihood Blizz cares if we like how we look or not?
The solution is to stop putting all of one debuff type in a season. Stoneform should be changed to not remove all debuff types but bleeds are one of the few good and thematic parts that make sense to keep. There’s just too damn many bleed effects in S2.
If the intention is that bleeds can NEVER be removed then get rid of that from Stoneform and Cauterizing Whatever and be done with it.
Your need to play the “meta” race isn’t Blizzard’s problem.
If you don’t like playing a Dwarf, don’t play a Dwarf. If you need the racial to be good at the game then you have bigger issues than not liking the Dwarf aesthetic.
There will always be a a racial that’s better than the others, so there’s no point in changing one because everyone who chases meta will race change to the new meta.
the issue is that blizzard constantly puts bleeds and other debuffs into mythic plus that do insane amounts of damage - having the extra defensive in stoneform is pretty much non-negotiable if you want to do higher keys.
i’m not asking for dwarf racial to be changed, i like the dwarf racial - i just want to be able to change my character’s appearance.
also what other racial would i use? every other racial is useless except night elf shadow meld and my class cannot be a night elf (otherwise i would just be a night elf)
it would be nice if blizzard could just finish what they started and give all races to all classes already, but they’ve been taking their time with that and we don’t know when or if it will ever happen (so asking for a cooldown removal on gleeful glamour seems like a pretty decent compromise)

no evokers cannot reroll their race.
yeah its just the basic philosophy of bleeds in mythic plus - they are always doing so much dmg that they require some sort of defensive (and most bleeds are unavoidable dmg - i can’t think of a singular bleed that is avoidable: one could argue the mistveil bite in mists of tirna scithe but that’s only avoidable to the extent you can kill the mob before you run out of stuns/stops to disrupt the bleed cast)
personally i would like to see all unavoidable dmg be the responsibility of the healer, but that’s never going to happen, so dps players like myself are going to be required to play dwarfs to have enough defensives.
you gain keystone legend mount at 3000 rating, which will require roughly half 13s/half 14s in season 2.
Or split the bragging rights rewards up into a billion categories that include all race/spec/class combos.
The single mechagnome brewmaster monk will enjoy their free rewards for clearing M+4
I understand this, but what I meant is that every time I have an issue with evoker visage (I main and love the class for the most part) is that I’m told if I don’t like how it looks I should reroll to a different race/class that is aesthetically pleasing instead of asking Blizz for changes.

we technically can already have our racial appearance changed with 100% uptime if you have 24 friends who are willing to put down a new atomic recalibrator for you once per hour.
removing gleeful glamour cooldown merely makes this less obnoxious to achieve.
(also, using the atomic recalibrator is actually so annoying - you have to run over it and back and forth 20 times to get the race you want: there are times when i put down an atomic recalibrator and run over it constantly and never get the race i wanted before it despawns)
I’m all for allowing players to look and feel how they want. Remove the cooldown 100% imo.
I’m just saying my experience on these forums is basically being told to deal with it as is or find something else to play. I’m wondering if this is the general consensus or I’ve had a unique experience so far.
that’s why i never pay attention to any responses to my forum posts, i merely post a thread to provide feedback to blizzard.
a large majority of people who post on the wow forums aren’t worth acknowledging.
