Not really understanding the reasoning for delaying M0 until 9/10, a 9/3 delay would’ve been more than enough as it is but the 10th is just overkill.
Every single expansion has had M0 available immediately or within the first reset (Think DF pushed it slightly to prevent anyone from doing them before the Tuesday reset)

Yeah, two weeks is kinda of a lot, right now I am battling the feeling of “I could grind a bit more to go a bit higher than 580… But all my gear will be replaced soon, do I even bother?”
Don’t get me wrong, I know I will go back into WoW addict mode when Season 1 starts, but right now I am feeling exactly how I was feeling in DF with TWW a month away. No point in doing M+ or Raids since all my gear will be replaced, so I was just logging in to… Well, log in, I had a sub running, so might as well, even if it’s just to stand in the center of the town watching a stream with WoW minimized.
If you added M0 now with a daily lockout you would have people geared enough to jump straight into heroic and almost completely ignore normal mode.
And also it being on a daily lockout is a bone to mythic plus after the recent changes. You will be able to get Champion Track Gear extremely quickly.
And that wasn’t a problem for the last 4+ expansions? Good players still do normal early on if there’s tier/good loot. Lower skilled guilds (generally non-mythic raiding ones) still do normal regardless.
It’s a daily lockout now. That’s the main difference.
Idk who needs to tell you this but Heroic gets cleared day 1 all the time

Obviously but that is irrelevant to the majority of the playerbase
