Agree that this is a neccessary change. Queueing any bracket above 1800 is long queue times even during peak hours. The ping isn’t ideal but it’s the only reasonable solution. Would rather play on NA East ping than have no games.
A system that prioritises Oce v Oce for a few minutes before expanding to NA would suit both low rated players and higher rated players.

Speaking of intelligence, if you would like to resolve your current dilemma of being unable to play in North American brackets with North American ping, have you looked at transferring your Warrior off Arugal to an American server for Arena?
People have friends and guilds here. Telling people to transfer servers isn’t a very realistic solution.
Players like yourself, Dustywood, won’t have to deal with the issue as you don’t play arena and certainly not at a rating where you would need to be matched with players from NA, so you really have nothing to complain about.
No-one should have to abandon the community they’ve played with just to be able to play another aspect of the game.

We’re all from the same community, don’t forget that we all know each other - the whole argument “we have friends here on this server”, you’re not exactly leaving the server if you’re only transferring your Arena toon off?
I mean, you personally had 2 characters 60 for the purpose of disspelling World Buffs in the Classic Era, Fizxy, you’ve got plenty of toons you can still play on Arugal / whilst having others on NA.
Who would you play against if the majority of players transferred off? The only fix for this is a merge of brackets and a priority queue system. This problem only gets worse the longer it stays as an oce only bracket.

You’re acting like there’s a whole lot of you upset over this, but there’s literally a small fraction of you in this thread actually in support of this change.
Therefore, please, minority, move on to NA and keep your raiding toons on Arugal.

You’re also suggesting that the majority of Oceanic players that complained about this the first time around should be impacted by your little 5 man arena teams?

I only have 2 level 70’s. 1 Alliance and 1 Horde and I play arena on both of them. Half of the gear used in arena is from raids so your argument of just transfer off the arena character doesn’t make much sense.
Assuming we are given a priority queue system where we are matched with Oce players first what do you actually have against the merge?
Suggesting someone xfer off OCE if they want to arena is just braindead. We need a system that prioritises OCE v OCE then expands to US West (hosted on US West) after a few minutes like others have suggested.
