You get to play vs OCE players who have a ping disadvantage, not the other way around. In what way do you believe this negatively effects you, or are you more saying that this is a slippery slope towards a coinflip roll deciding arenas to be hosted on OCE/NA ping when we queue into you in the future?

Outside of getting put on a oce based arena server, which pretty sure everyone who has played retail will agree wonât happen vs US players, I donât see what else would affect US players?
Maybe youâll cop some more abuse in bg chat from some cooked Aussie but thatâs about it

Aussie trolling is far too powerful for the yanks, but there should be no reason to even merge battlegrounds. Just merge Arena please. Itâs actually ridiculous that our top teams are currently only eligible for Duelist.

I donât think anyone cares about the ladder at this point, we just want to be able to compete properly. Asking for latency isnât ideal, but sitting in 10+ minute queues are peak time only to play a team -500 MMR under you is far from ideal.

No queues today during the day I have to resort to going back to retail please remerge us i want to play game
BGâs should be merged, but Arena needs to have a timer after say 5 mins of trying to link with OCE vs OCE that it lets you vs other regions.

The sex pests at Blizzstein need to stop using their hands to touch women inappropriately and instead use them to merge us back with NA.
Do people not understand how the merge would work? Oce players would play on NA ping not the other way around. It doesnât affect NA players at all. For the queue to even pop on most days my team and I have to sit in a 15min + queue. If you are a low-rated player on OCE this wont affect you either as there would be priority queue, the same as live in which you queue into OCE people before NA and there are plenty of low rated teams.

how would you have lagging teammates? You cannot queue arena with ppl from oce

In 2021, playing with 3-digit numbers of ping is an annoyance that shouldnât affect anyone. I would rather sit in a 25-minute queue than play a rogue with 200ms. Many players are still farming honour and arena queue times will only improve as more people acquire PVP gear on their mains and alts. The colossal outcry of the OCE community during TBCâs prepatch against merging battlegroups speaks volumes as to how such a merge is detrimental to the PVP experience for the vast majority of our playerbase. In this case, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. We fought hard to create a competitive environment that works the best for us. This environment is allowing our arena scene to slowly flourish as we continue into the expansion. Please do not go against the wishes of the OCE community by merging us with NA.

Explain how there being literally 0 teams above the cut-off for Gladiator in OCE and a maximum of 2 teams above 1800 rating queueâing during prime time hours is âflourishingâ?

Pvp scene isnât flourishing, people at all ratings above 1500 in this thread are reporting 10min queue times and even then the same team over and over again.
Iâd nearly guarantee you havenât ACTUALLY sit 20+min queues whilst trying to climb hence why youâve posted off a alt
FYI Iâd bet most people who want the merge donât care what blizzard does with BGs, we just want to
A) be able to queue at random times
B) play different teams
C) have it even remotely possible to get gladiator
D) have all bracket queues alive more than specific nights / times (5s is MOSTLY only weekends + tuesdays at night)

+1 on merge with priority region queue system. OCE current player pool cannot handle the current system and keep up with US rating inflation
