I know it’s probably impossible, but I’d love to see WoW Classic in VR.
But also Playstation. I’ve noticed more and more people using a controller to play wow…

You can play WoW with an Xbox controller right now. I know because that’s how I usually play.

Personally I have entirely too many keybinds to try to learn how to do all that on a controller.
That said I am looking forward to playing D4 on my Xbox 360 usb controller, because that’s actually manageable.
Source: Tried playing FF14 on PS4. Thought I hated it when in reality I just hated it on a controller. Still don’t like any version of that game more than this one but needing all sorts of two button combinations to still get less binds (unless you go for three button combos), well let’s face it at that point I might as well just learn an entirely new game.
I guess times are changing and more people are doing it, and honestly if they offered it on consoles I wouldn’t be mad, I just wouldn’t go anywhere near it either.

If you want to lay down you could always just use a laptop.
It could be made to work but I wouldn’t personally go near it myself simply because the control scheme I could see feasibly working would be flyouts and wheel menu options just for class abilities not to mention professions and everything else. This discounts all customization of addons being supported (most console makers don’t like when you add a language parser to their console) and macros may not even be supported.
Again, if they do, they do but cross-platform PvP will be a real treat for console players against computer players… I can already hear those complaints now.
Personally, if you want to use a controller, there are options for that now and you can always add most HDMI or DisplayPort televisions to your computer and play the game on that display if you’re looking for a big screen no desk experience.

Only if a “controller” shows up over their head in m+, raid and rated PvP.
There are enough people that struggle with mouse and keyboard.
Imagine a raid full of healers using a Xbox controller

How would you type out text? (Never had a console.)
I’m afraid we can’t be friends.
Step one, plug the PC into a TV.
Step two, find a couch and sit on it to start playing. You got the same expereince as you would on the console, except much better without the limitations of the console getting in the way. 
Having (with modifers mind) 54 buttons to work with is pretty cool (You need interact/Target, possibly jump and Sit for basic up and down, so 50?..) , but that’s really the only good thing i can say with controllers here. Everything else, thumbsticks limit your camera movement, you can’t really multitask as well you can on mouse and keyboard, and the UI for WoW at the moment is not built for it.
And speaking from my experience after i’ve set the controller up a few weeks ago, just leveling a character, i felt like i’ve gotten less done with the controller then i did with my mouse/keyboard and it didn’t feel honestly fun to play that way.
“How dare they stuck with the default way of playing the game while i choose to intentionally gimp myself!!” Is pretty much what their arguments gonna be.
How? If you’ve been using a computer for a good chunk of your life, then you know how to use it. Gaming on a PC really doesn’t take much more then that. Other then occasionaly to press F to pay respects.
With controllers? Painful. 
But seriously, you have to select a word you want and move the selection box thing over with your left thumb or d-pad. And let me tell you, it makes me wish Keyboard and mouse was in EVERY GAME on console, or even come standard.
Imagine if i had to type all this with a controller.
