Hopefully they’ll just make a new AH mount for 9.2 so people who missed the Bruto will have another shot in Shadowlands for a mount that at least has the function.
I don’t like the idea of limiting gold obtained items either but it is what it is… And getting that kind of gold is hardly an elite thing… my friend got it and she doesn’t really do on level raids n dungeons too much… I helped her with some of it… were both semi casuals she is less casual than i am but I would have went after it had i wanted it… 5 mil gold would only require running a couple old raids a day for a year… which isn’t much tbh if you actually play… me i would just knock em out all at once one or two days a week xD… the right alts can make quick work of them old raids… if you are not willing to put int the work can ya really say you really wanted it in the first place?
You keep talking about math. I came back in feb and had less than one million. In that time until now I have made over 10 million from AH sales, vision boosts, mythic carries, and freehold boosts. I LEARNED how to a make the gold and I DEDICATED my game time to making it. It’s a decision and we are all responsible for our decisions. Your average person in this game was never going to get the mount. It was end game for gold makers. Anyone could get the gold if they dedicated themself to the grind.

What’s funny is no other gold sink mount was taken from their vendors. The only reason long boi was taken out is so people that have lives would have to spend $500-$700 to get it. The whole concept of taking content out of the game is frustrating. Some people work full time and go to college full time.

Lol. Only 1% of players are mythic raiders. And everyone cannot play the AH because someone ultimately has to buy all the stuff the AH players are posting. (That’s why I keep talking about math).
Full time teacher and dad. Girl in gymnastics and boy in kung fu. Up at 5 am and home at 5 pm. All of my game time was grinding gold if I wasn’t raiding. We all have lives and responsibilities

Well let’s talk about you specifically. Why don’t you have the mount? What did you do differently to make Gold when you found out it was going away? Did you learn different avenues to make gold? Did you put in any effort whatsoever? Me raiding mythic is a decision I made as well. It is all about decisions. That is why at the end of the day I have a mount and you arecomplaining to blizzard. That you don’t have it

No offense, but I had 300k to my name in july, and got the bruto it in september. The tools are there for people to learn how to make gold, if they actually care enough to put the effort.
The people that didn’t get in time were never going to get it. if anything, giving a year’s worth of notice (or whatever it was) motivated a lot of people that otherwise would have never bothered.
That said, people can still do it at their own pace. Once they amass 10 million gold, all they have to do is wake up early every day, check the BMAH and gold cap that thing.

There is no reason a gold sink mount should be taken out of the game. It’s not a glad mount or aotc mount. What about the mammoth, yak, or spider? They’re all still in the game and obtainable.
ok but they did take it out and gave like 8 months notice that it was leaving.
At that time I had only 1 level 120. So, I started leveling more but it took a long time to get them all exalted so they could get the the 4k caches every 10,000 rep. I also started running more old raids and started a second alchemist/herbalist. I bought a half-dozen tokens to jump start the professions on the alts. I ended up 657,000g short last Tuesday of my goal and Blizz got over $120 of my money for a bunch of gold I have no use for now. I crafted tons of stuff and was not able to make a consistent profit except on war scrolls and a little on flasks.
Yeah there are plenty of resources online that tell you how to make gold in-game. There is really no excuse to not have the brutosaur if you were subbed for a whole year. OwO
HAHA, well then thats a YOU problem…and a major fail. I too only have 1 max level toon and I still manage to make tons of gold. As a casual. This whole thread is load of whining YOU problem.
Yet this one was. You are following blizzards patterns here but for whatever reason this time a vendor mount got taken out of the game. Kind of like a glad mount for gold makers
