Please publish realm faction stats and offer one way transfers

For server health please show the faction balance when the balance becomes >10% to one side automatically offer free faction change from over populated faction to the dwindling side before we get more 99.9% servers.

All this work, all these problems…all solved with single server and phasing technology that has existed for 15 years at least.

All because a handful of people have fond memories of old servers that use to have a community…and the company supporting the game is too cheap to change it all.

If no action is taken i’ll wager all the servers that received transfers from the mega servers and the fresh servers will all be one faction PvE servers again in a few months.

Step 1) Add paid server transfers to game in 2020, the single biggest mistake in all of Classic

Step 2) Release absolutely zero internal server data & make no effort to cap, lock or monitor servers until a week before wotlk launches in 2022 … way after its too late.

Step 3) Watch as a server with no queues before prepatch has 13 hour queues on release day. Something players could not have seen it coming because the players were given zero info on the state of servers.

Step 4) Blame players.

They will never release this sort of information—they have been attempting to hide their subscription numbers for years.

I know allowing only one faction or the other to transfer to a realm is more than possible to do for Blizzard, for realm balance. Yet we are stuck with Blizzard saying “I don’t know what happened”. Literally could help faction balance by limiting what faction can and cannot get a free transfer to a server. Paid transfers are a different story. I would not recommend changing the rules for paid transfers because if players want to play with friends even if it costs them $25 then they will. I would also recommend a character transfer back to the realm that they came from, for free transfers, if they did not like the new realm up to a 2-week window after that if they haven’t decided good luck.
